Reasons Winter Break Is the Best of All

Some people get really sad when they have to go home for winter break because they know they’re freedom decreases and they are going to get bombarded with unnecessary questions. But there are plenty of reasons why we should all really love and appreciate winter break.

First of all, you just spent a whole semester eating in a dining hall/microwaving your meals. It’s nice to go home to some home-cooked meals and lots of desserts, especially around the holidays. It just makes it so much more special.

One word: Snow. Who doesn’t love snow? Especially when you are at home in the comfort of your own room. You don’t have to go outside in it if you don’t want. It’s really pretty and you get to stay inside. You don’t have to worry about trudging to class in it.

Another reason winter break is a real blessing is you get to sleep in your own bed. Sure you have a bed at school, but the one at home is surely more comfortable.

The Holiday Spirit is all around during winter break. You get to give/receive presents, decorate, and do lots of baking. Who doesn’t love doing the things?! The Grinch maybe, but even he came around in the end. Christmas makes everything happy and a joyful occasion.

Winter break brings in the new year. And whether you make resolutions or not, it’s a great way to have a brand new start and a brand new focus. Don’t take advantage of i. Embrace the season and the opportunity.

And lastly, winter break is not too long, but it’s not too short. Summer break tends to long and drawn out and spring break just isn’t long enough. But winter break is just enough time to rejuvenate your mind and soul. Appreciate it while it lasts!
