Faith Heals All Heartbreak

Hey guys! I know this is another religious post, but I don’t have any scheduled for next week, so if you’re not a religious person don’t worry. I don’t schedule this many religious posts usually because I want to reach everyone. But I wanted to do this one and I am super excited. So if you are interested just keep reading.

I am a firm believer that God is with me at all times. There has never been a situation or decision that I couldn’t work through. I am never alone. God always shows Himself to me, especially in the hard times. I am thankful for Him and all He has done for me. With that being said, I want to talk through how He got me through my “breakup”.

A little backstory. Growing up I didn’t have the best mom. She was in and out, up and down. Controlling, manipulative, abusive. I was terrified. I hated my childhood. But God saw me through. He helped me see that better things are coming. He opened my eyes to my strengths and capabilities. What I went through made me a stronger, better person. But I still struggled. Even as an adult my mom would come in and out of my life tearing me down each time. I was hurting and frustrated and wanted it to end.

So I “broke up” with my mom. I have a post later about leaving toxic relationships and how and when you should do that. But I wanted this post to be about faith and how that helped me. I knew I was making the right decision because I consulted God for many years before I did it. I made sure I knew what was going to come of it. And He never gave me a reason not to. Instead He gave me all the reasons I needed to do it. He put the best people in my life and showed me that they deserve my time and attention. He showed me how to let go of things that are not beneficial to me. He taught me how to remove negativity in my life. All these things helped me finally cut ties with my mother. She can no longer get to me.

So if you are struggling with a toxic relationship, whether it’s a family member, friend, or significant other, have faith in knowing that when the time is right, God will show you just how to move on. It may not end the best way, but you will be so much happier when it’s done. Just have faith and trust that He has a plan.

Thank you so much for reading! Be sure to like this and follow if you aren’t already. Also check out my new Facebook page Love Geeky Girl. See you next time!
