Hey guys! Welcome back. I figured since it’s finals season I would do a Motivation Monday post. I hope you are all doing well, whether you are partaking in finals or not. I hope you enjoy this post.

I believe that believing in yourself is the first step of the road to success. It’s important to have confidence in your abilities or you more than likely won’t go through with what you want. However, sometimes it’s kind of difficult for us to believe in ourselves. I always find myself focusing on my weaknesses and failures that I can’t believe in my strengths and successes.

College is the time to believe in yourself. In college you have the opportunity to figure out who you are and what you want. It’s so important to branch out of your comfort zone and test the waters. Pushing the boundaries will help open up your options. It’s why Gen Ed courses are a thing. They give you classes in all the different core areas to help you know and figure out your strengths and weaknesses. So don’t just whiz through it, pay attention and try.

Believe that you can. Believe in yourself and things will work out. Sometimes believing in yourself just comes when you decide you don’t like the life you are living now, so you change it. It doesn’t matter where it comes from, as long as it comes and stays. So the first step is deciding what and why you want to change. Understand who you are and who you want to be. Let life take it’s course and follow the path YOU think is best.

Another tip is to tell your story. Telling your story allows you to understand who you are and where you come from. You can find motivation in the most unlikely places. Don’t be afraid of your past. Don’t put things in the back of your mind. Everything and anything is fair game when it comes to believing in yourself and making a change.

You have to work hard. You can’t decide you want it to happen and then never do anything to get there. Most things don’t just happen, there has to be a force, an effort. So get up and do what needs to be done. Even if you fail, at least you know you tried.

You have to believe in yourself before the attempt. You have to know yourself and understand your strengths and weaknesses. You won’t be great at everything, but you should at least try. You will learn so much more about yourself and you will be thankful you decided to believe in yourself and try later in life.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this and found it motivating. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow if you are not already and I hope to see you next time!
