Hey guys! Welcome back. As you are probably all very aware of, The Bachelor has come to an end. But it went out with a bang. The series as a whole was kind of boring. Not a lot really happened and so many of the girls were just like girls we have already seen on the show. So there wasn’t a lot of excitement. However, the finale brought it all to a very exciting, very dramatic end.
So Arie came down to Lauren and Becca K. They met his family and to no surprise on my end they all decided Becca was the best choice for Arie. Arie said himself Becca is the “most logical choice for him”. She was confident, secure, and a well-rounded person. She was talkative, outgoing, funny, smart, and beautiful. All the things he was looking for in a wife. During the finale he went on dates with each of the women again. He felt strongly about the both of them.
When it came time for the proposal he was still very conflicted. He wasn’t sure what to do and was very tense. He sent Lauren home in the end and it was a very tragic breakup. She was confused (and rightfully so considering he told her he loved her). He then commences to propose to Becca. She says yes and they get engaged.
That’s usually the end of the story. However, in this case it’s far from it. Arie immediately starts having regrets. He says he still has feelings for Lauren and “can’t stop thinking about her”. So he breaks the engagement off with Becca and goes back to Lauren. It was very dramatic and extremely emotional.
On “After the Final Rose” Arie gets engaged to Lauren. However, at this point no one really cares. Everyone is too concerned with Becca and how she is doing. As it turns out (to no ones surprise or objection) Becca is the new Bachelorette! We are all so excited to watch her journey and see her fall in love with hopefully the right person. My heart goes out to her and I look forward to watching her journey.
