Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am doing a review on the CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Elizir foundation. I have always heard great things about this foundation, so I thought I would try it. Those of you who have been around for a while know that I love the Wet n’ Wild Photo Focus Foundation. It is inexpensive and a great foundation. I love it. I love it so much that I refused to buy any other foundation for nearly a year. But this weekend I decided to branch out and try some new foundations. one of them was the foundation I am reviewing for you now.

Before I give you my thoughts and opinions I would like to preface with a few things first if you don’t mind. First, you should know I do have dry skin, but I know there are oily people who love this foundation. So no matter your skin type, don’t be afraid to try it if that’s the only thing holding you back. Also, you should know that it is $10-$12 so it’s a bit pricier than the other foundations I use. Now on to the review.

As I said it is $10-$12 depending on where you buy it. I bought it at Walmart and spent $10 on it. I was reserved at first because I wasn’t sure if I would like, but I decided to take the plunge. It is a pricier drugstore foundation, but for good reason.

The packaging is absolutely stunning. It comes in a glass bottle and it has a pump. It looks incredible and looks very luxurious. I love it. But we all know the packaging isn’t nearly as important as what’s inside.

I love this foundation. It has a beautiful finish. I would say it’s a matte foundation, but it looks incredible even on my dry skin. I used my Wet n’ Wild Dewy primer under it today and it looked even better, but it looks great even without a primer. I always moisturize before I put any foundation on though, so that might be key. Make sure you do that before applying any foundation. It is a full coverage foundation on me. I don’t have a lot of acne or anything, so there isn’t a ton to cover, but it seems like it could hold up on any kind of skin.

So it is $10-$12, but rightfully so. It is a flawless finish and dries well. I haven’t tried apply it with a brush, but I love it with a beauty sponge. I do have to set it with a loose powder because it is a bit tacky otherwise. But it lasts all day and looks beautiful. It’s lasted 12 hours already and my foundation usually doesn’t make it through eight hours.

This might be my new favorite foundation. I absolutely think it is worth the money.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Let me know if you have tried this foundation and what your thoughts are. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
