Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you all enjoyed our weekend and are starting your Monday off refreshed and recharged. I have a busy week ahead of me, but I am anxious to get going. Today I am going to share with you my “cozy night routine”. This is not my pamper night routine because I don’t pamper myself every night, but there are a few very similar things. I like to spend this time relaxing, but also just not worrying about anything. So typically I like to do things that don’t take a lot of effort. But before I ramble on forever, let’s just get started.

My “cozy nights” typically only happen when I am at school. When I am at home, every night is a coy night if we are being completely honest. But when I at school I like to have cozy nights in instead of crazy nights out. That’s how I usually describe it to people. So on nights (like Friday) when people are getting dressed to go out, I am typically preparing for my night in.

The first thing I do is put all of my work away. I put my notebooks, my textbooks, all of my supplies on my desk and I do not touch it for the rest of the night. Typically this happens at around 7:00 p.m.

Then I take a shower. This is something I do every night, but it’s super important on my cozy nights that I am clean and fresh. I just feel so much better. After that I put on my comfiest clothes, take off all my makeup, and wash my face.

Next, I spend some time reading. On my comfy nights I like to spend an extra amount of time reading my Bible. It just really comforts me and helps me gain clarity and focus. There is something so satisfying about spending time with God.

After that, I get out my unhealthiest foods. I do keep some on hand for nights like this when I feel like I have worked hard all week and really deserve it. I get out some kind of snack and then I get comfortable in my bed. I turn on Netflix, usually to Gilmore Girls because what’s better to comfort you? I’m not really a movie watcher usually, but if you have any movie suggestions let me know.
