Hey guys! Welcome back. Power hours are something that I live for every week. They truly have changed my life. It’s something that I look forward to and I wanted to share with you how a power hour can change your week. A power hour is where you spend one hour on one task and nothing else. There are no distractions and you don’t try to focus on anything else. For me, I split up my power hours in different categories to simplify things and get the most accomplished.

Cleaning. I have a power hour every Sunday where I clean my room. I will put laundry away, completely remake my bed, wipe all of my surfaces, organize, and anything else I can get done in an hour. This helps me prepare for the week and feel more focused. It also prevents me from having to worry too much about these things during the week.

Homework. Homework can get tedious at times, so having one hour devoted to it allows me to focus and knock some out. It doesn’t all get done, but having this one hour where I don’t allow myself to get distracted helps me get at least a portion of it done. That hour is usually done on Monday afternoons after I get out of class.

Blogging. I will write and schedule a blog post or two during this hour. This saves me time later on in the week. If I already have things scheduled I will spend this time promoting older blog posts on social media and reading other people’s blogs and supporting them. This hour usually happens on Wednesday.

Working. When it comes to having a business, things can get hectic and chaotic. So having an hour to focus on getting things organized and preparing for projects, getting tasks done, and making sure I marking things off my to-do list, power hours are extremely helpful. This usually happens on Saturday.

Those are my power hours and what they are used for. Do you have power hours? Let us know in the comments. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

Yes! It’s rare, but sometimes when I have the day off I’ll get a burst of energy and have a super productive hour or two. I wish I had a way of triggering them, but I’m just grateful when they happen haha
