Hey guys! Welcome back. A few days ago I shared my Spring morning routine, so today I decided to share my night routine. It’s pretty basic, but I think a few things are changed so I am going to share it. I believe in routines and I always need them to get anything accomplished and feel prepared. So morning and night routines are a part of my day no matter what. So here is my night routine for the new season!

1. Plan the next day.

Planning the next day is so important because I might not have time to sit down in the morning and fill everything out. I look at my planner, make my to-do list, and plug everything into my Google Calendar. This helps me wake up the next morning knowing that I am prepared and can get started with my day.

2. Prep for being healthy.

This could be different depending on what you need or want to do the next day. For me this includes putting a bottle of water in the fridge, laying out my yoga mat, and putting my vitamins out so I can remember to take them. This way when I wake up in the morning I can do everything I need to do related to this.

3. Tidy up.

I try to pick things up throughout the day, but if I don’t get to it I do it at night. I will wash any dishes I used, throw away any trash, and put anything away that I may have got out. I get my backpack ready for the day. I make sure my desks are cleared and everything is put away. This helps me go to sleep knowing that everything is clean and tidy and I can wake up feeling productive.

4. Lay out things for the next day.

I always lay out my clothes for the next day. This just helps me not have to worry about what I am going to wear the next day. I also lay out whatever makeup I am going to use so I’m not digging through things in the morning. I already mentioned setting out my vitamins and yoga may. All this allows me to sleep a little bit longer in the morning and not have to worry about it in the morning.

5. The basic things.

I change into my pajamas, take off my makeup, wash my face, brush my teeth, and all the other bathroom tasks that need to be done. I set my alarms, yes plural, for the next day. I try to read a book if I have a little bit of time and then I turn the lights out and go to sleep! I know, not incredibly exciting.
