Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to talk to you about something very important. It’s about the lie you keep telling yourself. Don’t worry, I do it too. Unfortunately I do it way too much. It’s a lie that keeps holding you back from doing what you want to do and living the life you want to live. It’s an insane lie that we need to let go of. So let’s talk about this lie that is preventing you from reaching your goals.
The lie is “I’ll start tomorrow”. Guess what? Tomorrow never comes. You don’t have tomorrow and you don’t have yesterday. You have today. Saying “I’ll start tomorrow” is holding you back because you allow yourself to believe that you actually will start tomorrow. But you know you probably won’t.
Most of us have goals, dreams, and even plans. The issue is, they most likely don’t start today. You don’t start working towards them right away. You plan to start them tomorrow, or in a month, or when you have your life together. But the truth is, none of us really every have our lives together.
The hardest part of reaching our goals is actually starting. Trust me, I know. There have been so many things that I kept putting off because I said “I’ll start tomorrow”. But I said that every day. So finally I knew I had to put an end to that mentality and just get started. It’s easier said than done, but once you get started you will see how easy it really is. You will start feeling so much better wants you start actively trying to reach you goals.
So instead of starting tomorrow, start today. Start actively making plans and taking the steps to reach your goals. Because you deserve it. You deserve to have a life you love and reach your true potential. Be the best version of yourself today. Go out and make things happen. You will thank yourself down the road.
We all have things we wish would happen, but we don’t always have the patience or willpower to get there. But nothing happens if you don’t work for it. So get up today and get started. You will see the success come because you know it. Don’t allow yourself to get stuck in the vicious circle of “I’ll start tomorrow”. Start today instead. Believe in yourself and have confidence that you will succeed.
