Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a good week. The end of the semester is upon and I wanted to talk to you about how I handle the end of the semester with little to no stress. It does take some time and effort, but doing these things is really helpful when it comes to getting things done and out of the way.
Plan. Planning is so important throughout the entire semester, but it is really important now. I love planning, so to me it is a nothing. But if you are not a natural planner, I would seriously consider finding ways to plan that work for. Whether it is a planner, to-do lists, or any other method of planning to accomplish everything you need to accomplish.
Giant checklist. It seems a bit overwhelming at first, but you get to mark things off the list, so it’s actually pretty satisfying. Having a giant checklist of things you need to get done will help you with prioritizing and help you visualize how close you are to being finished with everything.
One thing at a time. Do not try to multitask. It rarely ever works. Get one thing done at a time and I promise you will be a lot less stressed. Just sit down and get things done. Write the paper. Do the project. Read the chapters. Get as much of it done at one time as you can and you will get further along than you think.
Lean on others. Lean on your friends and family in times of need. Find support in the people around you. Your friends are going through the same thing you are, so it is beneficial to help you know that you are not alone. You can study together, get ice cream together, and just help each other out.
Stress relief. In times of chaos it is super important to find time for self care. I know I preach on this all the time, but that is because I need the constant reminder and I know you do too. Find time to relieve stress in healthy and practical ways. Find time to take care of yourself so you can keep killing it.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments how you handle the end of the semester. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
