Hey guys! Welcome back. If you are anything like me, getting up in the morning is really difficult. And when you already don’t want to get up in the morning, it can make you pretty crabby. Sound familiar? Yeah, I struggle with that too. That is why there are some mood boosters that can help you get up and get going in the morning if you aren’t a naturally cheery person in the morning. Even if you, these may still help you.

Stretching. Stretching helps me because it really wakes me up and gets my body working. Stretching out my muscles helps me activate my body to wake up and get ready for the day ahead. Stretching helps the joints and bones to stop aching. Stretching when you are young helps prevent that from happening in the future. Stretching in the morning is a great way to boost your mood and get started with your day.

Drink water. I find that if I don’t start out my day drinking water, I probably won’t do it later in the day. So to stay hydrated and wake my body up, I need to drink water. It helps refresh my body and I feel better about starting my day. Drinking water helps me start it on the right foot.

Breakfast. Because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, this is a real mood booster for me. It gives me something to look forward to and I have a reason to get out of bed a little earlier. It is a great way for me to motivate myself and it might work for you. Find your favorite breakfast and see if that motivates you and puts you in a better mood when you get up in the morning.

Give yourself five minutes. I know I need that five minutes to get my thoughts together. If I wake up and immediately start thinking about everything I have to do, all the things coming up, and everywhere I need to be, I will get overwhelmed. So I like to have five minutes in the morning to just sit and think about other things. Maybe do some reading or writing. It really helps me first thing in the morning.

Coffee. This is one of my favorite things to have a better mood in the morning, and the rest of the day really. It’s nice to be able to get a drink that tastes good. Like breakfast, it is something I look forward to every morning. It gives me some energy and I really enjoy it. It’s great to have things to look forward to, especially when you have to get up really early and don’t want to.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you favorite mood boosters for the morning are. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
