Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to share with you how I refocus myself during the day. When I work from morning to night it can be pretty easy to lose focus and want to stop working. So I have to come up with ways that help me regain that focus and find the motivation to keep pushing through. And now I am going to share those with you. Here are all the ways I refocus myself during the day.

1. Step outside.

This is primarily something I do when I am at school. If I feel myself drifting and losing focus on whatever I am working on, I like to go walk around outside. It allows me to get out some energy and clear my mind. It’s something that I really enjoy doing especially when it is nice outside.

2. Eat a snack.

If I am losing focus, it’s sometimes because I am low on energy. So I try to have a quick snack and give myself a break. This allows me to refuel and give my mind a little break before getting back to what I need to do.

3. Clean my room.

If my room is really messy I am unable to focus on things for very long. So if I find that my room needs to be cleaned I take the time to work on it. I know that it is better for me in the long run if my space is clean because that allows me to work with a clear mind.

4. Set a timer. 

When it comes to working on things, I typically have a short attention span. So setting a timer allows me to focus on things in smaller intervals. And this includes breaks. I don’t like to have long breaks because they leave me feeling unproductive. So I usually give myself a time limit and then get back to work.

5. Keep track of my to-do list. 

When I start to feel like I am losing focus, I take a look at my to-do list. I mark things off that I have completed. I adjust things if I need to. I take the time to make sure I am making the most of my time. This helps me refocus and know that I am on the right track and getting things done.
