Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. If you are reading this on the day it is posted, it’s my birthday! And also my engagement party. So in honor of trusting my gut, I wanted to share with you some gut instincts you should never ignore. Because believe it or not, sometimes your body knows what is right because your brain does. So while I am busy getting ready for the the day’s festivities, please enjoy this post.

The feeling of danger.

If you feel like you are in danger in some way, you should not ignore it. You should pay extra attention to your surroundings to make sure that you aren’t ignoring something or someone that could harm you. If you are in a setting that feels unsafe, you should do your best to get out as soon as you can. Don’t ignore this feeling.

This feels right.

Sometimes when you know, you know. There is no denying it. This was certainly the case for me. And I knew that I shouldn’t ignore the instinct because there was no point. I knew exactly what was going to happen and it has absolutely changed my life. So just know, if you have the instinct that something is right, go with it.

They aren’t right for me.

On the contrary, it is possible that your gut could tell you that a person is wrong for you. Whether it is your first time meeting them or you have been in a relationship, your gut can tell you it’s time to walk away. Don’t ignore this feeling because it will only get worse. This is a situation in which you should trust that instinct.

I need help.

This is another instinct that ignoring will only make worse. If you need help, it’s important to ask for it. Regardless of whether it is physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual, ask for the help you need. This will help you a great deal in the long run. Ignoring that instinct will be a disservice to you and your health.

This is the one.

This doesn’t just relate to people, although it could. This could also mean the right house, the right job, the right outfit, etc. That instinct that is telling you this is the one should not be ignored. Because it’s just your gut telling your mind what it already knows. This will make you happy, so don’t ignore it.

I can do this.

Sometimes your gut tells you what you need to hear. In this case, it is absolutely a positive. Sometimes you need someone to give you a little push. In this case, it’s that you can do something that you are convinced that you can’t do. So listen to your gut and know that whatever it is, you can do it and you should start now.

These are gut instincts that you should never ignore! You gut tells you more than you might realize. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments how often you listen to your gut! Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

  2. I’ve really been thinking about this lately, I think I have quite an accurate gut and always can tell when things aren’t quite right and I think I need to trust it more and act on those feelings!
