Hey guys! Welcome back. I have very few relaxing mornings left before I head back to school, but on the weekends I still like to have relaxing mornings. So I figured I would share with you my relaxing morning routine as it is right now. These are things that I try to do every morning, but on “relaxing” mornings I take a little extra time to make sure I’m not rushed or stressed. So here is my relaxing morning routine.
I try to stretch every morning because it helps wake my body up and it just helps me feel good. I enjoy stretching while I’m still in bed and also right when I get up. It loosens me up and gets my body moving. This way I wake up and warm up so getting out of bed doesn’t seem so bad.
I shared this post a couple months ago and you guys really seemed to like it. I try to do this every morning, but on relaxing mornings I spend a little extra time. It really just helps me get things out and works to help me make sure I am on the right track. It’s also something that I thoroughly enjoy and it makes waking up a much easier process.
Whether it is cleaning up my room or getting things ready for the day, I like to get organized in the mornings where I am taking my time. I like to go through my things and get rid of clutter. This is especially useful when I am living in a dorm room and have minimal space.
Have a good breakfast.
During the week I usually don’t have a lot of time for breakfast. So on slower mornings, I like to have a nice breakfast where I can sit down and really enjoy it. This helps not only energize me, but it also gives me something else to look forward to in the morning. Breakfast is my favorite meal anyway.
Sit down and do my makeup.
Usually I am pretty rushed and just stand up while I’m doing my makeup. But on these relaxing mornings, I like to sit down and really take my time. Makeup is a great stress reliever for me and I love having it as a creative outlet. So on mornings like this I really like to take my time and just enjoy the process.
Plan my day.
I love sitting down and planning my day. I start with creating a to-do list and figuring out what I need to get done that day. Then I put all of that into my Google Calendar so I can see how much time I have and when I need to get started. This just helps keep me organized and focused throughout the rest of the day.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments your favorite ways to spend a relaxing morning. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
