Hey guys! Welcome back. I question I get a lot when it comes to blogging is if I think daily blogging is a great idea. I do blog every day and I try to have a blog post out to you all every single morning. However, I don’t necessarily think it’s a great idea. And I will explain why. Daily blogging takes a lot of time and energy. You have to write posts, edit posts, schedule posts, promote posts, and keep up with comments and questions. It is a lot of work.

If you are not completely devoted to blogging every single day, it’s not altogether necessary. You really just need a consistent schedule that your audience knows about. Whether it’s once a week, twice a week, every other day, or even everyday, your audience should be aware of that schedule and it is important to stay consistent with that because that will help you build trust with your audience.

Daily blogging is not always the best idea because no matter what, you need to have quality content. You need to be able to find time in your schedule to give your audience the content they deserve. Otherwise, you may not grow as much as you would like. It’s always better to have good quality posts that a good amount of posts. So if you don’t think you can deliver on that commitment, I recommend turning away.

The great thing about blogging is that you can make it completely your own. There are no rules or guidelines. It is all up to you. You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. Be yourself and the right audience will come to you. Being authentic is the best way to create a lasting blog with a substantial impact. And that doesn’t have to mean blogging every single day.

However, if you are like me and you can handle blogging every day, then by all means go for it. Just because it’s not always the best idea does not mean that you shouldn’t do it. Like I said, blogging is based on the individual. Your blog is your own and you can do whatever you want with it. As long as you are doing what is right for you, your blog, and your audience.

I used to have a blogging schedule and I felt like my blog grew so much when I had it. Then I started to feel stressed about posting and ended up just aiming for once or twice a week. Planning posts is definitely something I want to work on this summer!

    1. Even if your schedule is to only post once a week, it is still a great idea. As long as you are communicating with your audience what that day is.
