Hey guys! Welcome back. We live in a society today that places a lot of emphasis and praise on staying busy and productive. And while being productive is a good thing, it can also be too much sometimes. It is important to be able to recognize when this comes up so you can know when it’s time to stop and give yourself a break. So here are some ways to recognize when you are doing too much.

If you find yourself making silly mistakes.

Sometimes we mess up and it’s just a small mistake. However, if you find yourself making these silly mistakes more often than not, you are probably stressed and trying to do too much at once. A common sign that there is too much going on is making mistakes that you know you wouldn’t otherwise make.

If you wake up in the morning feeling drained.

We all have morning where we just don’t want to get out of bed. However, if you are sleeping all night and waking up still feeling tired and overwhelmed, it could be a sign that there is too much going on in your life. You are stretching yourself too thin and it is starting to take over your life.

If you find yourself having frequent negative thoughts & disliking daily activities.

The more you have going on, the more likely you are to be unhappy. If you find yourself disliking even the most simple daily activities, it may be because you have too much on your plate. The more you have going on and the more stressed you are, the more you may see everything in a negative light.

When you’re feeling cranky a lot & snap about small things.

When we get overwhelmed, sometimes just the smallest thing can push us over the edge. If our to-do list is already seeming like an impossible thing to do and someone asks us to do something else it can cause an extremely negative reaction. So if you are cranky and start snapping about small things, it could be a sign that you have too much going on.

When you’re so worried or overwhelmed it keeps you up at night.

Not being able to sleep because of things going on is a major sign that there is just too much going on. Staying up all night because you can’t relax is an indicator that you are putting too much pressure on yourself and you need to start delegating tasks and letting things go when you can.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you do when you are overwhelmed or stressed. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

I agree on this blog post. If I feel I am doing too much, I just make a list of things that are the most important to do and let the other things go for some time.
