Hey guys! Welcome back. I feel like I have done one of these in quite a while, so I figured I would share it with you today. I share life updates every now and then, but I wanted to share how I have been growing as a person and what I have been doing to help in that area. I hope that this motivates or inspires you in some way so you can continue to grow. So without further ado, here is my personal growth update.
I have started learning what it really means to just let go. For some reason, this has always been a hard concept for me to grasp. I am not good at letting go of things that are bad for me. But within the past couple of months I have seen what letting go can do and all the benefits that come along with it. It has done so much for me and helped my anxiety a lot because I have less to worry about.
I have been feeling very productive lately, which I think is because my anxiety has decreased. I have been getting a lot done and I am so thankful for that. It gives me more free time to do the things I enjoy. I like being able to stick to my schedule and reach my goals in a timely manner. Productivity is something I have worked on a lot over the past two years and I am proud of the point I have reached and can only hope to keep pushing and keep getting better.
I am starting a new fitness journey. I am not sure how much I will share, but I may share a few things. This is just one of those things that I know I have to hold myself accountable for. I feel uncomfortable when too many other people are involved. So I like knowing I can go at my own pact and not have to worry about anyone else. But I will share as much as I can when I can.
I am reading again. I have a few books that I want to read by the end of the year, so hopefully I can fit the all in. Right now I am reading Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley. I will share my thoughts on this book when I am finished. If you have read it or are reading it, let me know in the comments. I think it is a great book for personal growth and living your best life.
As most of you know, I am almost finished with college. I will be graduating in December and I am so excited. I am even more excited now that I know what I will be doing after I graduate. I know where I will be living, I have a job lined up, and I am just so excited about this next chapter of my life. I know that it will bring a lot of blessings and happiness and I can’t wait to see what is in store for me.
I have been feeling very proud of myself lately. Not in a over-confident way, but in a good way. I have learned to recognize my accomplishments and celebrate my successes. It makes me really happy when I know I have done something well and I can recognize it. I used to focus mostly on the negative, but now I do my very best to focus on the positive as much as I can. I have been working to change my mindset and I am thankful that I have the space to do that. I am thankful for the people who have pushed me to be better and learn to love myself.
We all have bad days, but I have learned to always keep in mind that a bad day is only 24 hours. The next day I wake up and try to have a better day. I don’t want to have a limited mindset and I want to grow to be happy and positive. I want to inspire other people to live more positively and enjoy the life they have. It is so important for me to be able to live by example.
I have learned that it’s okay to be uncomfortable sometimes. It means you have stepped out of your comfort zone and you are learning. I have been doing that a lot these past few months. I challenge myself to step out of what is comfortable and really grow. I do things that will help me learn about myself and what I need and want out of life. And I challenge you to do the same.
