Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to talk about success and a unique way to help yourself find the success you are looking for. I came up with ten questions that you can ask yourself that will help you be more successful. These will help you further define the life you are looking for and help you understand what kind of future you are looking for. So here are ten questions you can ask yourself to help bring forth success in your life.

1. What is your definition of success?

What does success look like to you. Knowing this will help you know what you need to be doing and where you need to go to find this success. For some people success is having an abundance of money. For others, success is having happiness. The good news is, there is no right or wrong definition of success. It is what you want it be. However, it is up to you to figure out what that is and how to get it.

2. Are you a leader or a follower?

Again, there are no wrong answers here. However, you typically are one or the other. If you are more of a leader, a typical office job may not be the best fit for you unless you can find a leadership position that you are qualified for. If you are more of a follower, having your own business where you are more on your own may not be the best fit for you. Of course, this is a generalization and each person’s case is different. But knowing if you prefer to lead or be led can help you determine what kind of career you need to look out for.

3. Are you prepared to take risks?

When it comes to success and living the life you really want, sometimes you may have to take risks. You will also have to sacrifice some things to get there. Therefore, a big question you have to ask yourself is “Are you ready?” Are you prepared to take the steps you need to take to get to where you need to be. If not, you need to figure out what you need to do to get there.

4. What are your greatest strengths?

What are you good at? What are your biggest attributes? What values can you bring to the world. Knowing the things you consider to be your strengths can help you identify where you need to be and what kind of career and life you want to live. Your strengths help you move forward.

5. What does failure mean to you?

Some people choose to see failure as a lesson waiting to be learned. Others view it as the end to that chapter and a sign that it is time to move on. Other people view it in a plethora of different ways. Knowing and understanding what failure means to you will help you understand what you are willing to risk and how far you are willing to go. It helps you not push yourself too much, but just enough.

6. What is your back up plan?

Some people like to believe that they don’t need a back up plan, but the reality is it’s a good thing to have. Knowing what you want to do if your first plan fails will help you move forward after failure or uncertainty strikes. Don’t be afraid to flesh out a back up plan. It doesn’t mean you are devoted to the first plan, it simply means that you know not everything works out the way we want it to.

7. How are you going to make success happen?

Once you know what you want, it is important to know how you are going to make it happen and what your next steps are. Because as good as it is to know what you want out of life, you have to be willing to do the work to make it happen. Otherwise, you will just be dreaming. Plans without action does no good. So it’s important to know what you are going to do and then start doing it.

8. Who can you rely on to help you in this journey?

We can’t always do everything alone and luckily we are able to have strong relationships with other people. So once you know what you want and you have a plan, it’s important to evaluate your relationships and figure out who you can rely on to ask for help. These are the people who will support you and lend a hand when you need it. This will help you progress and move forward at a faster pace.

9. Which resources will help you create your success?

What do you need in order to have the success you want? Is it a certain job? Is it certain equipment? Is is a specific person. Figure out what you need in order to make this success happen and then start working to get there. Everyone needs something different when it comes to finding the success they want and making it happen. So don’t be afraid to ask others that have the success you want how they got there and what they did to make it happen. We all started somewhere and most of us are still working to get where we want to be.

10. How will you stay inspired?

The reality when it comes to finding success is people usually don’t get there because they get uninspired and lose motivation. And then they just give up. So when it comes to getting the success you want, it is important to find ways to get inspired and know how you will stay inspired. This way you are less likely to give up and you will keep pushing forward until you have the success you want.
