Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you had a great weekend! Today I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind a lot lately. And that is intimidation. I think it’s safe to say that for most of us, at some point we get intimidated by people, situations, and life in general. However, I find myself being intimidated by some pretty crazy things and I see other people being intimidated by them as well. So I wanted to share with you a few things that I think we should stop being intimidated by because it’s either pointless or completely unnecessary.
Your partner’s past relationships.
I have found myself in the past worrying about my partner’s past relationships. But the reality is in most situations, they aren’t in a relationship for a reason. And in order for them to fully move on from that, you need to as well. Unless there is reason to worry like they are showing signs of still pining for that person, it’s best to let go. If they have moved on be content and let the past stay in the past.
I’m not going to lie and say students loans aren’t scary because they are. However, once you figure out exactly what you owe and start paying on it, it’s not as big anymore. There are plenty of people who can help and that have a lot of knowledge that can help you. Don’t think you have to go about it all on your own because it’s not as heavy as it seems right now. Just figure out a plan and work towards making it happen.
Going to the doctor.
Or the dentist for that matter. Don’t be afraid of going to the doctor. Especially if there is something wrong or you are unsure about something. They are there to help you. So don’t be intimidated or afraid. Just go in and let them help you. It may be scary at first, but at the end of the day you want to make sure you are living your best life. So it’s best to go and be safe then not go and have to worry.
This goes along with student loans in a way, but there is also a lot more to it. I have recently learned more about budgeting and how to handle my finances. It does help that I don’t make a lot of money and I don’t have a lot of bills. However, I am still practicing budgeting, saving, and paying off my debt. This will help me in the future when I do have more to work with.
Going to the gym.
This is one that I am still working on. But I also know that going to the gym is good for everyone, not just the people who feel confident and comfortable going there. The gym is for everyone and we shouldn’t be afraid. If it is something that you really want to do, then I say go for it. The more often you go and the longer you stay, the faster you will feel better about going to the gym.
Being on your own.
Oh boy, is this a big one. I am sometimes scared of being on my own, but I take a second to remember all of the many benefits of being on my own. Sure it’s difficult at times and it’s not always fun. It comes with a lot of responsibility. However, there are so many positives that it makes it all worth it. Don’t fear being on your own so much that you never do it. You will regret it.
