Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you have had an excellent week! Today I wanted to share with you some of things I personally gained in college. However, all of these will be things I gained outside of the classroom. The college experience is more that just what goes on when you in class or working on assignments, it is about the things that you experience when you are interacting with others and being a part of campus life. So here are some things that I gained outside the classroom during my time in college.

1. I met amazing friends.

One of the best things that has come out of my college experience is the incredible friends that I found. My support system has grown so much and I am so thankful for all the people who have come into my life. College has introduced me to some amazing people who I couldn’t imagine my life without.

2. I learned the importance of a healthy soul.

When I came into college I was pretty broken. I wasn’t confident and I was struggling with who I was. But I learned about myself along the way and slowly started to piece myself back together. And through that long and difficult process I learned how important it is to have a healthy soul. A soul that is kind and warm. Because the world needs more of that.

3. I am more open-minded.

College opened my eyes to so many things I don’t think I would have experienced otherwise. I met people from different countries and learned about their cultures. I took on new opportunities and challenges that taught me who I am and who I’m not. College gave me the chance to see the world in so many different ways. I got to see people and places that I wouldn’t have been able to if I had stayed where I was.

4. It taught me what I really want.

I have had my fair share of ups and don’t in college. I have struggled and I have succeeded. And college taught me through all of that what is most important to me. It taught me to realize that it’s okay to say no. It’s okay to walk away. If it doesn’t align with who I am, it’s not needed.

5. It taught me that I can do anything.

If you had told me four years ago that I would be doing half of the things I am doing today, I wouldn’t have believed you. But through trying new things and taking risks on myself, I learned that I am capable of so much more that I give myself credit for. College taught me that I can do anything if I really want it and I work hard to get it.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what college taught you outside the classroom. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
