Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great weekend! For me, I like to do things that help me de-stress on the weekend. So I thought this would be a perfect time to share with you some of the ways that I do that. I always like reading how other people relieve stress, so I wanted to take this opportunity to share some of mine in case you are looking for some new ideas or if you’re just interested. So here are five things I do to relieve stress.
1. Have a bath or shower.
When I am at school, I can’t really take a bath. So I opt for taking longer showers and really pampering myself. I like to take the time to take care of my skin and my hair. It helps me take my mind off of everything and focus on making myself feel better. Taking a nice bath or shower also releases some of the toxins that build from stress.
2. Read a book.
I love reading. I don’t have any specific genre, I just love reading any book that I find interesting. So when I am stressed, I like to pick up a book and spend some time reading. I like to read inspirational books and things that will motivate me. It helps keep me going and pushes me forward.
3. Take a walk.
This is by far my favorite thing to do. I love going outside, listening to some music, and just walking around. It’s a great form of exercise, a great way to burn some calories, and really helps me relieve some stress. I love being outside and just walking around, especially in the Fall or Spring.
Planning helps me relieve stress when I feel overwhelmed. If I am worried for whatever reason about things that are coming up, it helps me to sit down and plan things out. I figure out what I need to do, when I need to do things, and exactly what my plan needs to be. It helps me feel less stressed.
5. Clean my room.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of a clean room. Cleaning helps me relieve stress because it’s quite a workout and I like having a clean room. It also helps me feel more organized and put together on the inside because whatever is reflecting on the outside reflects on the outside. If my room is in chaos, my mind is also in chaos.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let me know in the comments your favorite way to de-stress. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
