Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. Today I wanted to share with you some things that I think no young woman should ever have to fear. No one in general should ever have to fear these things, but as a young woman, these are fears that I, or people I am close to, do fear and I wanted to address them. These are things I don’t think we should have to fear because they are a part of our individual lives. But anyway, here are the things I think no young woman should ever have to be afraid of.

Her sexuality.

I don’t think anyone should ever have to be afraid of showing their sexuality. It’s a part of who we are and whatever your sexuality is, you should be comfortable sharing that. It’s a huge part of who you are so don’t be afraid. I know it’s easier said than done, but just know you aren’t alone and you have support no matter what.

Whether or not she is “wife material”.

You should never have to wonder if you are “wife material” or not. Because ultimately that doesn’t really exist. You are exactly the partner that someone needs and is looking for. So don’t worry if you have what it takes to be a good wife because to the right person you are exactly what they are looking for and you will be a great wife.

Having people dislike you.

Not everyone in the world is going to like you and that’s okay. You don’t need the whole world to like you. It’s better to have a small group of people who love you than a large group of people who just like you. Don’t be afraid of people disliking you because ultimately it will be okay.

Starting over.

It’s okay to start over. Whether it’s on your own or with someone else, it’s okay to have a fresh start. In fact, sometimes it is completely necessary. So don’t be afraid of starting over. Welcome the change and do what is best for you. Life is too short to live a life that you are not happy with.

Cutting ties with negative people.

If there are people in your life that you think should not be there, just know that you don’t have to be afraid of cutting them out. They don’t deserve to be there and that is perfectly understandable. Make room for more positive and uplifting people and let go of anything that doesn’t help you thrive.

Having strong opinions.

Having strong opinions is something that you should never be afraid of. You get to have those opinions and you should hold on to them. Don’t let anyone make you feel that your opinions are not valid or that you shouldn’t have them. Your opinions are your own and without them you are not really you.

Taking chances.

Taking chances and taking risks is something that is really scary. But what’s even scarier is not taking the chance and never knowing what could have happened. Sometimes you have to take the chance. It may be scary, but don’t be afraid to the point of never taking any chances because that won’t really help you.

Being alone.

You shouldn’t have to be afraid of being alone. Sometimes we are because we are afraid of what might happen, but it’s okay to be alone. It’s okay to not be in a relationship all the time and it’s even okay to live alone. Being alone and taking care of ourselves is something I think we should all be comfortable doing.

Whether she will have to choose between having a career and a family.

News flash! There are women in all parts of the world who have both and do both every single day. You shouldn’t have to be worried about that. If you really want both, you can do it. If you just want a family, as long as there is some income, you can do it. If you just want a career, that’s okay too. But you don’t have to choose unless you want to.

Not being able to reach her full potential.

If you live your life and take the chances you need to take, you shouldn’t have many issues reaching your full potential. As long as you are willing to put in the time, effort, and hard work that it takes to get there, it’s not something that you should worry about too much. What’s meant to be will be.
