Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week so far. I am looking forward to the weekend, so today I wanted to share with you some productive things I do on the weekend. Doing these things on the weekend helps prevent me from having to do them during the week, so I can spend time during the week doing things I enjoy and not feeling overwhelmed. So here are some productive things that I do every weekend that might help you too!

I try to do my laundry if not every weekend then every other weekend. This just prevents it from piling up and me running out of clean close. And I hate doing laundry so trying to find time during the week to do makes things worse. So getting it done on the weekend is super helpful.

I usually clean on Saturdays. I take a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon and block it off on my calendar. I clean up and make sure all the trash is out and everything is put away. I just feel better and more productive when I am in a clean space and not a lot of clutter to distract me.

Go through my purse.

I like to go through my purse at the end of the week to get out anything that I don’t need or want in there for the next week. Any trash, receipts, or anything that can be thrown away goes in the garbage. Anything that needs to be put up gets put up. This way I can start a fresh week with a clean purse.

Make a to-do list.

I typically do this on Sundays. I will make my to-do list for the week ahead. I brain dump all the things I know I need to do and I make time for them on my calendar. This just ensures that I don’t forget anything and it helps me prioritize everything and make sure I am giving myself plenty of time.

Do a workout.

I like doing my more intense workouts during the week, but on the weekends I still like to do at least one workout. Whether it’s following a Blogilates video or just walking around outside for 20-30 minutes, getting in some exercise is never a bad idea. So I try to have at least one.

Deep clean at least one area.

Whether it is the sink, the refrigerator, my closets, or whatever else, I try to take some time during the weekend to deep clean something. Right now my microwave needs it really badly. So that is probably what I will do this weekend. But I try to deep clean at least one area so it’s not too much of a task later on.

Mark things off my to-do list.

Once I get all of the other things done, I start marking things off my to-do list. This just prevents me from having to do everything during the week. It’s also really satisfying to be able to check things off my list a little earlier than I anticipated. It’s honestly probably one of my favorite things on this list.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you find this helpful. Please like it if you do. Let me know in the comments what you do to have a productive weekend. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
