Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you had a great weekend. The Holidays are quickly approaching, and with that comes spending quite a bit of money. So today I wanted to share some tips with you on how you could save some money. Because with all the gift exchanging, parties to attend, and potential travel, saving money is really important. So here are some ways that you can save some money this year for the Holidays.

Sell things you don’t use.

We all have things around our houses, apartments, and dorms that we don’t necessarily need or use. So selling them to someone who could use them could help you get rid of some clutter AND make a little extra cash. You can put that money aside specifically as a Holiday fund so you know you have something.

Work on odd jobs.

Whether it is pet sitting or baking some desserts to sell, there are so many great odd jobs out there that can help bring in a little extra income. This is a great way to also bring in some money to put in the Holiday fund. It’s a great way to put your talents and skills into good use as well.

Set a specific amount of money aside.

Every time you get paid, set aside a chunk of that. Put it in your Holiday fund. This keeps you from spending it on something else and this will save you quite a bit of money. When you get paid, decide on how much you are going to set aside and then do it. You will thank yourself later.

Stop buying coffee everyday.

This is a hard one, but I can’t tell you how much money this has saved me. I cut down on a lot of the money I was wasting on buying a coffee every morning. It is a really small change that has a really big impact. Try making coffee at home or cutting back on how much you drink.

Cut a few subscriptions.

I cut out several of my subscriptions and to be completely honest, I don’t really miss them. It was just taking money for things I didn’t really need or use that much. There are so many subscription services and subscription boxes that aren’t necessary. So I cut them out to save money for the Holidays.
