Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. November is almost over and in just a few short weeks, the year will be over as well. So today I wanted to share with you some things I think we should get rid of before the start of not only a new year, but also a new decade. These are things that you don’t want to carry over into 2020, so if you get rid of them now you can move forward in a much better place.
1. Clothes you don’t need.
Going through your closet before the new year is a great way to declutter and donate to people in need. Get rid of the clothes you don’t need, want, or forgot you even had. This will create space and allow you to start fresh in the new year. It is also a great way to help others who could benefit from those clothes.
No one needs negativity in their lives and toxic friends bring all the negativity. To start the year off fresh, let go of the people who hold you down. Embrace the friends you know are great for you and let go of the ones who aren’t. This is not an easy thing, but you will feel so much better.
3. The fear of failure.
The fear of failure is something that often really holds us back. But the thing is, if you don’t try you really are definitely going to fail. But if you give it a shot, you at least have a chance that whatever it is will be a success. Let go of the fear of failing and just live your life as best as you can.
4. Your ex’s number.
You know what I’m talking about. You broke up and you are still holding on to their number because you think there is a chance or you like the idea of knowing it’s still there. Let it go. Delete the number and move on. Chances are you will be way happier once they are permanently out of your life.
I have a lot of insecurities and the biggest thing that I am trying to let go by the end of the year is the insecurities I have. Whether that is working on myself, letting things go, or just learning to love the life that I have, I am learning that being insecure has been doing me no favors.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let me know in the comments what you are working to get rid of by January 1st. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
