Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great day. It is almost Thanksgiving, so that is super exciting. Let us know in the comments what you have planned for the holiday weekend. Today I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind quite a bit lately. This year I have been working really hard to not back down. I have tried my best to be fearless and not let fear run my life. And I think I have done a good job at that for the most part. So today I wanted to share with you some tips that helped me be more fearless and take charge of my life.

1. Make time to nurture yourself.

This year I really made it a point to make self care a priority. With everything that I have going on on a daily basis it can sometimes be difficult to take the time to make sure I am taking time for myself. But this year I made sure that I was giving myself the time I needed and allowing myself to rest and take breaks when I need to. It has helped me learn about myself and how valuable I am.

2. Build a positive support system.

It is sad to think that in a few weeks I am going to be leaving most of the  amazing support system that I have built. I know I will still have them, but I won’t see them as much. But having a positive support system that wants to help me has helped keep me from making some pretty big mistakes. They have helped me see that what I want and what I need is important.

3. Have a positive impact.

I like to think I do that. I get messages and emails from so many of you telling me that my content helps you. And that means so much to me. I love knowing that I get to interact with all of you and that you can have an impact on me as well. Having that kind of impact has helped me become more fearless because I am able to see how many people look up to me and how I can use my voice for good.

4. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

This took quite a long time for me and I’m still not completely there. But I have tried really hard to get to a point where I could be comfortable with not always being comfortable. Sometimes in order to get what you want or what you need, you have to put yourself in a situation you might not be comfortable with. But that’s part of becoming fearless. It’s doing the things that scare you that will help you be the best you can be.

5. Learn to say “yes” to yourself.

This also ties in to being uncomfortable. When there is something you want or something you have an urge to do, do it. Go after the things you want because chances are, they aren’t going to come to you. Say yes to yourself and allow yourself to go after what you really want in life. Life is far to short to sit around thinking you can’t do things or not believing in yourself.

6. Be authentic.

Being yourself is one undeniable way to become fearless. Don’t try to be like someone else or do what everyone else is doing just to fit in. Do whatever is going to make you the most happy. Let your light shine in the only way that it can. Be fearless by letting go of the judgments and criticisms of everyone else. Let go of the fear of what everyone else will think and just be true to yourself.

7. Know your values.

Knowing what is important to you and what you believe in is another really great way to become more fearless. If you don’t know what you believe in it is difficult to take a stand or know what is important to you. Then you just go along with anything that comes along. Knowing your values can help you have more of a grasp of who you are so you can let go of that fear that is holding you back.

8. Set goals.

Set goals for yourself. Know what you are working towards. Write them down and put them where you can see them. Knowing your goals and reminding yourself of them will help you remember why you do the things you do. It can help remind you of why you don’t need to be afraid. Just do the things you know you need to do. Don’t worry about any of the rest.

9. Don’t measure your success against the success of others.

What this boils down to is not comparing yourself to others. You are not the same as everyone else. What success means to you is not the same as what success means to other people. So in order to become fearless you have to stop letting the success of other people think that your success has to look like theirs. Just find what it means to you and start chasing that.

10. Never give up.

One of the biggest things that is a part of becoming fearless is not giving up. No matter how hard it is or how tempting it might be to just let go, keep fighting. Who you are and what you want really matter. If you want to be fearless, then it is important to keep trying. Don’t let setbacks or tough times hold you down. Let go of the fear and just keep fighting. The rewards will be well worth all that you did to become fearless.

Those are my tips for how to become fearless. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you found this helpful. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments how you work to be fearless. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
