Hey guys! Welcome back. And Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers who are celebrating today. For today’s blog post I wanted to share with you some difficult things that we all go through that are worth being grateful for. Even if you can’t appreciate them when you are going through them, looking back it’s good to be able to see the good that these things bring to our lives. So I wanted to share those with you today.

Rejection is never an easy thing to go through. I’m not sure that there are many people who can say they really enjoy being rejected. However, the thing about rejection is it is protection from something. Whatever you get rejected for means that it was something that wasn’t meant for you. So you can move on and find the things and the people that do fit into your life. Rejection is a tough thing to go through, but just remember that it is just protection from things that weren’t meant for you anyway.

No one likes having their heart broken. It is sad and painful and just not a fun experience. And I know you might think that I am crazy for saying that it’s something worth being grateful for, but I truly believe that it is. Heartbreak allows for a change. It allows you to see what things in your life need a change and how you can do that. Don’t focus so much on what is not in your life anymore, look to see all the things you can have in your life now.

No one is perfect. There aren’t many people, if any, who can go through life and never fail at something they try. It just means that it’s not for you or that you need to keep working at it. But failure isn’t all bad because it allows you to learn. You learn far more from failure than you ever do from succeeding. So if you find that something hasn’t gone your way or that you haven’t succeeded at something you thought you would, look for what you can learn from it.

We all get disappointed at some point. It’s one of those things we can’t always avoid. And the more you try things, the more likely you are to be disappointed. But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Because the more you are trying the more you are learning about yourself. The more you are disappointed, the more you learn about what you value and what your needs and wants are. Disappointment allows you to see what really matters to you and what you won’t accept.

Physical pain and emotional pain are incredibly difficult things to struggle with. They are not easy or fun to go through. And it’s another thing that you might think is strange that I am saying you should be grateful for, but hear me out. Pain of any kind helps build strength. The more you go through something and the more you learn to deal with it, the stronger you become. And the more strength you have, the more well-rounded of a person you can become.

These are all incredibly difficult things to go through. I have struggled with each one of them at some point myself. However, I think it is important to remember that even on the bad days, there is something to be grateful for. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let me know in the comments what you are grateful for this Thanksgiving. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
