Hey guys! Welcome back. Happy Christmas Eve!!! A couple of weeks ago I shared my Winter morning routine, so I decided today I should share my night routine. It won’t go into full effect until after I move, but I still want to share it with you. Just a reminder that my Instagram giveaway ends today at 3:00 p.m. CST so head on over (lovegeekygirlblog) to enter! But for now, let’s get into my night routine for the season!

Tidy up.

The first thing is to tidy up. Make sure everything is put away and that I have everything ready for the next day. It keeps me from losing too many things. I start my night routine off with this because it is the last big thing I do for the day. When I was still in school I liked to start my night routine off with this because it worked as a nice transition.

Stretch.

Stretching is good for your body, so I really love stretching before bed. If I don’t work out in the morning I will do it during this time. Anything to help loosen up and burn some energy and calories. Stretching before bed really helps me relax and calm down so I can sleep better at night.

Write to-do list.

I write my to-do list the night before because I don’t always have time to do it in the morning when I wake up. I like to write down everything that I know I need to do the next day that way I don’t forget anything and I can keep up. I also put it in my Google Calendar so everything has a time that it needs to get done.

Get ready for bed.

At this time I will shower, wash my face, brush my teeth, and put on my pajamas. I get ready for bed and do everything I need to be ready. My skin care routine is super important because my skin does not like it when I skip too many days without properly taking care of it.

Relax/Read.

After I get ready for bed I like to take 30 minutes to an hour just relaxing. That might be watching something on TV, catching up on some reading, or something else that I just enjoy. Having this time also helps calm me before I get into bed. I don’t like to work on anything right before bed because then my mind is too wired to go to sleep.

After all of that I set my alarm and go to sleep! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your night routine is. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
