Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I wanted to share with you the things I do every night before bed. I think it is really important to have routines and structure because it keeps me going from one day to the next. As long as I have my routines I can rest easy at night and get up the next day ready to shine. So these are the things I try to do every night.
If you have checked out my 101 in 1,001 list you know that I have a goal to read 100 books. In order to do that I have to read every night. I also just really enjoy reading, so being able to do it every night is something that I look forward to. It helps me wind down and relax before bed.
I like to clean up at night before bed because it less that I have to worry about the next day before I go to work. I make sure all my trash is in the garbage. everything is put away, and that my room looks pretty neat. It just helps me feel a lot better about starting a new day.
I have to do my skin care routine because if I don’t my skin does not react very well. So this has to be a part of my night every single night. I very rarely miss a night of washing my face and moisturizing. Mostly because my skin needs it, but also because if I fall out of the routine it’s hard to get back in it.
Stretching has become something I do every night only very recently. It helps loosen my body up and not be as tense. And after a long day at work my legs really need to be stretched because I pretty much stand the entire time I am at work. So by the end of the day my legs and feet are tired.
I am really trying to keep up with my bullet journal this year. Last year I kind of kept up with it, but there were months that I didn’t pick it up at all. So this year I really want to keep up with it so I can track my goals and habits and progress. I want to be able to look back and see how far I have come.
I am writing blog posts pretty much everyday. Sometimes I am prewriting for days when I know I will be too busy or if I have some free time one day I like to go ahead and get some writing done. I love writing, so taking an hour or so every night to write blog posts or write in my journal is something I really enjoy.
