Hey guys! Welcome back. So I am back today to share something else with you. A few days ago I shared my struggles with you and the fact that it was becoming difficult to keep up with everything. I was struggling to find a balance, and in a way I still am. I am still working to get back into a routine and figure out what I am doing and where I’m going. Having to balance the blog, a new job, a new relationship, and daily life in general, it has taken a toll on me mentally and physically.

And I tell you this again because after I shared that post and opened up to you guys I got a lot of messages on social media and even a few emails. So many of you were so kind and ensured me that everything would be okay and that you understand the pressure and you don’t expect me to be on top of things everyday. And I got some messages from people asking if going through had taught me anything and if I could share anything that might be helping me, even if it’s something small. So I wanted to share my piece of advice for anyone struggling with something similar where you are trying to find a balance in your life.

That advice is that the best way to be better and feel better is to just focus on today. Focus on what you can do today to be better. Don’t think about what you did yesterday. Don’t focus on trying to beat whatever you did yesterday. Focus on what you can do today to work towards where you want to be tomorrow. Everyday is not going to be perfect. You aren’t going to accomplish everything you want everyday. What’s important is that you are doing what you can in the moment.

I stopped trying to be better than I was the day before. I started focusing on the day that I was living and figuring out what I needed to do. Everyday I get up and I think about what I can do that day to be better. It might be big and it might be small. But all that matters to me is that I am not worried about comparisons or anything like that. I am just focused on being the best person I can be for myself that day.

I hope this makes sense. Essentially what I am saying is that instead of trying to be better than what you did any other day, just do the best that you can. Everyday isn’t perfect, but to find balance and routine you just have to live in the moment. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did.
