Hey guys! Welcome back. So today I wanted to come on here and talk about something that I have been working on for quite a while. For a really long time I sought validation and approval from other people. I wouldn’t make decisions or take risks unless someone else told me it was a good idea. But after a while I started to realize that I wasn’t living my life on my terms that way.

So over the course of a few months I started focusing more on what I was thinking and feeling than what everyone else thought. Have I made mistakes? Yes. But at least I know that it’s because I’m doing what I want. So when it comes to figuring out what makes me happy and what success looks like to me, I know that I have to decide that on my own. It’s not up to others to decide for me.

I am working on being the best that I can be. I give my all in everything I do. I commit to my goals the best I can. I try to avoid comparing myself to others. I find satisfaction not in being perfect at everything, but in knowing that I am doing best that I am capable of doing. I don’t try to better than anyone other than the person that I was yesterday. I just try to find success not in being perfect at everything, but being the best that I can be.

I also try to find happiness in surrounding myself with the right people. I want to spend time with people who are kind, smart, and driven. I want to have relationships with people that help me, not hurt me. I try to surround myself with people who have the kind of success I am looking for or are chasing a similar kind of success. Life is too short to not spend time with people who lift you up.

I do my best to live each day with a grateful heart. I find that I am much more happy when I focus on the things that I do have instead of the things that I don’t have. Having gratitude helps me have a deeper sense of happiness and really value the things that I have in my life. It’s hard to find happiness and success if you can’t even be thankful for what you have right now.

Letting go and stepping forward are two things that I know being success and happiness, but they are two things that I am still working on. They aren’t as easy for me as the other things were, so it’s taking time. But I wanted to include them because even though I’m not there yet, I am working endlessly to get there. So they are two other ways that I am choosing my own happiness and success.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments how you are choosing your own happiness and success! Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
