Hey guys! Welcome back. Some of you may remember that Monday I shared how I start my week off and my Monday routine. I will leave a link to that post here if you would like to go check it out. So today I decided I would share how I end my week and what I do to de-stress and relax. I have Mondays and Fridays off most weeks, so this is how I spend my Friday.
I will admit, Laundry is not my favorite thing to do. But I love knowing that it is done and that I have clean clothes for the week ahead. I sometimes wash my bed sheets and blankets too because it’s a nice feeling to have a clean bed to go to sleep in when starting a new week.
I usually take some time to plan out the week ahead. It usually consists of me just planning out blog posts and podcast episodes. I will sometimes get some work done, but mostly I just work on the planning parts and making sure that I am prepared for what next week has in store for me.
Take a bath.
There is nothing quite like relaxing in a hot bath after a long and stressful week of being on your feel all week. On Fridays I really like to carve out about an hour of my time to take a nice bath and not worry about anything. I listen to some music, a podcast, or watch some videos.
Sometimes I do this while I’m in the bath if I remember. If not I will do it at the end of the night when I’m doing the rest of my skin care routine. But face masks really help my skin and I think they are really relaxing. I like sitting and watching some TV or reading while the face mask does it’s work.
Do my nails.
I love doing my nails, but I don’t have time during the week. So on Friday I take some time, usually at night, to do my nails. I really enjoy starting the week with newly painted nails with a new color. It’s just the little things that really help me feel better even though I know they will get messed up the next day.
