Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are enjoying your week so far. We all experience stress in one way or another depending on what your lifestyle is. Sometimes it’s family stress, sometimes it’s work stress, and sometimes it’s stress about another area of life. There are many stressors in my life, especially right now, so today I wanted to share some of my favorite ways to relieve stress. These are things that I turn to when I am in need of some relaxation and time for myself.

Listen to music.

Music is one of my absolute favorite things. I listen to music on a daily basis. It really heals my soul all the time. I have many different playlists for many different moods and situations. So when I am feeling stressed I like to take some time to just relax and listen to music. It helps me go to a different place and just feel good for a while. I turn to music when I need to be lifted up, but I also turn to music when I want to connect to a song and know that I am not alone.

Work out.

Most of the time when I am super stressed I like to go for a walk. Even if it’s just walking around in the yard for a little bit. It really helps get me out of my own head and gets my endorphins pumping and I feel a lot better. I will also listen to music during my workout regardless of what kind of workout it is because it just helps me get even more into the moment and I really dive deeper in my workouts. It’s always helpful to have a go to workout that helps you relieve stress.

DIY Spa Day.

Another thing I really like to do when I am super stressed is just relax. And the best way I have found to do that is have an at-home spa day. I will have a nice relaxing bath, do some beauty treatments, a face mask, and do my nails. I like to exfoliate and shave on my spa day as well. It just helps me feel good and more confident with myself. It also helps take my mind off of whatever is stressing me out at the moment. This is also the most fun way I relieve stress.


Sleeping is super important when you are stressed out. Most people tend to sleep less when they are really stressed for many reasons, but when I am going through stressful situations I really it helpful to get more sleep. It’s not always possible because I am up worrying or trying to work on things, but I really try to push myself to get enough sleep and let my mind and body rest. It ultimately makes me more productive and I am able to work longer during the day.

Have a good laugh.

Whether it is talking to someone who really makes me laugh or watching a funny TV Show, sometimes having a nice laugh is just what I need to feel less stressed and get back in gear. Sometimes you just need to take a break and set everything aside for an hour or so. So when I am stressed and I know that I have been working super hard, I like to treat myself to an episode or two of a funny TV Show that I like or a YouTube Video I have been wanting to watch.
