Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great weekend so far. Today I wanted to talk about something that we all probably have in some form or fashion: that “Someday” to-do list. Whether you have a list actually written out or you have a list in your head that you keep adding things you will do “someday”, there is probably a list somewhere. And a few of these things might just be on that list. So today I am sharing a list of things that you can cross off your list this weekend that you keep telling yourself you will get to eventually.
Call the person you haven’t talked to in a while.
Whether it is a long lost friend or a family member you would like to reconnect with, take some time this weekend to call that person and catch up. This is something that there is absolutely no reason to put off. Make the time to call the person or go see them if you are able to. It’s a great thing to mark off your to-do list and you will probably feel a lot better after you have done it.
It’s not the most fun task and it’s not something most of us look forward to doing, but it’s so satisfying once it’s done. So it’s worth it to take some time out of your weekend to work on decluttering and getting rid of things you don’t want or need anymore. You will feel so accomplished afterwards, even if you only get around to decluttering one space. It’s a stepping stone in the right direction.
Finish that book you started reading.
If you are anything like me you probably have a book that you started reading but never finished. So take some time this weekend to read the rest of it. Sit outside in the sun, soak in a nice bath, or find the comfiest spot in your home to sit down and spend some quality time just reading. It’s really relaxing and it’s a more enjoyable way to cross another task off of your “Someday” list.
Organize your closet.
If your closet is a mess it will be worth it to clean it out and organize it. It’s also a great way to get some decluttering done in the process and do two things at once. But you might feel a lot better once you clean out your closet and get it organized. You might even find some things that you lost or forgot about which is always great. So take some time to organize your closet this weekend.
Update your passwords.
It’s a good idea to change all of your passwords at least once a year, but it’s even better if you can do it twice a year. So if you want something that probably really needs to be done, I can’t recommend updating your passwords enough. Spend some time making sure that you go through all the websites that you have password protected and making some new and unique passwords.
Clean out your email inbox.
I know my inbox is full of clutter and I have several emails. Going through your inbox can be challenging because it’s not the most enjoyable task. However, it is something you can do without much thought, so while you are cleaning out your inbox you could turn on a movie or a TV Show to make things a little more entertaining. And you will feel better once you have gone through and cleaned up your inbox.
Hit the refresh button on your budget.
And by that I mean refresh your budget. Take a look at your budget and see if there are any changes that can be made. If so, figure out what you can do to make them happen. It’s worth it if you can get it done and save yourself some money in the process. Sometimes looking at the budget can be daunting, but it’s something that is super valuable and important.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what “Someday” task you want to get done this weekend. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
