Hey guys! Welcome back. With everything going on right now, we have a lot more time on our hands. So today I wanted to share with you some my at home self care essentials. These are the things that I must have when I am having time just for myself to recharge and relax. I believe that self care is so important, but especially during these times because things can leave you feeling a little unsettled. So today I wanted to encourage you to participate in some self care activities, whether it is taking a bubble bath, taking a walk around the neighborhood, or squeezing in a workout, do what you feel you need to do. To give you some ideas, here are my at home self care essentials!

My Journal.

When I am in need of some self care time, the last thing I need is my anxieties and worries stressing me out and clouding my thoughts. So I need my journal so I can write them down and get them out of my head. My journal is crucial to helping me relax. I also really love writing and working through ideas which my journal also helps with.

Bubble Bath.

I know it’s cliche, but it’s cliche for a reason. I love taking bubble baths. I especially love them with I am stressed, anxious, or really tired and need to relax. A nice bubble bath is one of my favorite things. I am so excited that my new apartment has a bath tub where I can take baths whenever I want. It’s going to be so nice.

Dove Body Scrub.

Sometimes self care means spending a little more time on yourself and pampering yourself. One of my favorite ways to do that is by exfoliating my entire body. My favorite body scrub is the Dove Body Scrub. It works really well and helps soften my skin. I have super dry skin, so exfoliating is so important. And this one is not too harsh, but still gets the job done.

Eye Mask.

I don’t do eye masks often, but when I am doing a real self care day, I always do an eye mask. I have tried so many and I don’t really have a favorite because they all kind of have the same effect on me. But doing an eye mask helps me relax and it feels really nice under my eyes. It’s cooling and just has a nice effect.

Hair Mask.

In a similar way, I don’t really have a favorite hair mask. It really just depends on what my hair needs at that time. But I love doing hair masks and giving my hair what it needs. Whether it’s moisture or damage repair, a nice hair mask goes a long way and is really great for relaxing. On my self care days, a hair mask is definitely a must have.

Face Mask.

I have all different kinds of face masks, and I love most of them. But my go-to face mask is the Freeman Charcoal Exfoliating Face Mask. It’s great for my dry skin. It’s not too harsh and it leaves my face feeling super smooth and feeling really fresh. So that is the one I reach for the most, but sometimes I will use a sheet mask.

Those are my at home self care essentials! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your self care essentials are. I think everyone would love some new ideas or products. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
