Hey guys! Welcome back. So I have been thinking a lot lately about the future and what I want. And one of the things that I was thinking about was if getting married was something I wanted to do. In doing that I decided to sit down and make a list of things I would want in a husband if I were to get married. And I know that the person I marry most likely won’t have all of these, but these are the biggest things that I am looking for in a forever kind of partner. It’s important that the person I marry has at least most of these qualities and that it’s someone that has the same values and wants out of life that I have. So here are all the things that I need in a husband.

A Sense Of Humor.

I would like to be with someone who has a sense of humor. I love laughing and being around people who aren’t super serious all the time, so someone with a sense of humor would be ideal. It just helps life go by so much easier and I know there is someone there to help lift me up when I am down and that I can lift up as well. Otherwise I feel like the relationship might be a bit boring.

A Strong Work Ethic.

I am literally always working on something or doing something (well most of the time), so it’s important to have someone who also has a strong work ethic. But not something that’s so strong that they never stop working. I just think it’s important to be with someone who has a drive that is similar to yours so you can work and support each other.

A Good Heart.

There are far too many bad people in the world today. I really want to be with someone who has a good heart and sees the beauty in people and the world. I want to be with someone who has compassion and love for himself, me, and other people. I want to be with someone who strives to do good things in the world and help other people as much as possible.

A Future.

I don’t want to marry someone who is done trying and isn’t striving to learn new things and grow as a person. That’s not my lifestyle and I don’t think I could make it work with someone who does live that way. I want to be with someone who wants to keep growing and evolve into an even better version of themselves because that is always my goal.

I think a lot of people don’t have enough patience and they think everyone and everything should happen at their pace or what they want. But I think having patience is super important and I want to be with someone who is patient and is able to not overreact about everything. It’s important to be with someone stable.

Someone Who Loves Me.

I want to be with someone who genuinely loves me for me. Not someone who just loves the idea of me. I want to marry someone who values the person I am and what I bring to the relationship, not someone who tries to change me or control me in anyway. I just want love and I don’t think that’s too much to ask for in a relationship.

A Sense Of Leadership.

Not necessarily in the relationship, but in life in general. I want to be with someone who sees themselves more as a leader than a follower. I don’t want to be with someone who is complacent or just goes with what everyone else is saying or doing. I need to be with someone who is strong and goes after the things that they want in life.

I have dated people in the past that didn’t really have any desire. They weren’t looking to do anything with their lives, they didn’t have any passions or goals, and they didn’t really desire anything. And the relationship obviously didn’t work out and that I can honestly say was one of the reasons. I think desire is such an important quality for someone to have.

His Own Interests.

I have many interests that I don’t expect my partner to have. Things like beauty, Reality TV, and baking. I don’t expect my partner to love all of those things. So it’s always nice if they have their own things. I think it’s important to have interests in common, but it is also so important to have your own things that you can do separately from time to time, especially if you are living together.

A Relationship With God.

I have a very strong faith and a huge part of my life is my relationship with God. So it is absolutely essential that the person I marry also have a relationship with God. This is one deal breaker. I just need to have a partner who understands what faith means to me and that faith means something to them as well. I also think it is crucial for a good relationship to be centered around something. I want mine to be God.
