Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you had a great week. I can’t believe it’s already Saturday and in just a couple of days I will be moving. Excited, but also a bit terrified. But today I am here to share with you my favorite TV shows to binge watch (and also where you can find them if you want to check them out). These are my favorite TV shows that I have binge watched or do binge watch regularly. Personally, I love TV shows more than movies. I don’t know why, but I just love TV series and really getting invested in characters and the plot. Anyone else? Also, after I share my favorite shows to binge watch I will be sharing a little announcement with you guys, so make sure you stay until the end! Let’s get into it!
New Girl (Netflix).
It should come to no surprise to most of you that New Girl is on this list. I have been watching it for the past two months, and even though I haven’t really watched it in the past couple of weeks, I still really love it. It is one of my favorite shows and I could argue that it’s my favorite. If you love comedy shows that have a lot of love and laughs, I cannot recommend this show enough. It will forever be on my list of favorite shows and I can turn it on at anytime.
Gilmore Girls (Netflix).
I love Gilmore Girls for many reasons. It has great laughs, some really sweet heartfelt moments, and a mother-daughter relationship I always wished to have. Gilmore Girls is great and it’s such a feel-good show. I have loved it since I started watching it a few years ago and it’s a show I know I can always turn to no matter what. There are so many seasons with a lot of episodes and they are like 45 minutes long. So if you need a good show to watch, check it out.
One Tree Hill (Hulu).
This is a show I remember my mom watching when I was younger and when I saw it was on Hulu I knew I had to binge watch the whole thing. So I did. And I can still binge watch it even now. It is such a great show that has just the right amount of drama, tears, laughs, and love. I really fell in love with the characters and was able to really connect with them in different ways. I love One Tree Hill and I can’t think of a better show to watch on a rainy day.
FRIENDS (HBO MAX).
Friends is on HBO MAX, however, I do not currently have a subscription there. But I do own the entire series on DVD and I own quite a few seasons on YouTube. So I can pretty much watch it whenever I want no matter what. Friends was the first TV show I ever binge watched. It never fails to make me laugh or help me feel good when I’m having a bad day. It’s such a classic and there is a reason that after all these years it is still super popular.
The Office (Netflix).
Apparently The Office will be leaving Netflix at the end of the year, so if you’re going to binge watch it you might as well do it now. You still have time! It’s such a great show though. It is super funny, laid back, and honestly just great writing. I love having it on in the background, while I’m eating, or when I just want something to laugh at and relax. I love watching random episodes of The Office with other people or just by myself. It’s too good to pass up.
The Mindy Project (Hulu).
In a similar way to The Office, this show is super funny and has a lot of really great characters. The are all super quirky and unique in their own ways, but that’s what makes this show work. The Mindy Project is lighthearted, but it does have it’s fair share of serious moments that kind of tug on your heartstrings. But overall it’s a really great show that I would recommend to anyone looking for a new show to watch. I promise you won’t want to stop watching it once you start.
Those are all of my favorite shows to binge watch. There might be more, but I’m drawing a blank right now. But those are definitely my top favorites! And now, I have a little announcement for you guys. So earlier this week I asked you guys if you wanted me to start a Bible Study Podcast because I had been getting so many requests to start one. It was a unanimous vote for yes. Everyone who voted or messaged me said yes. So I decided that I was going to deliver on that for you guys.
You can be expecting the new podcast very soon. I will keep you updated on here as much as you can, but there is a way that you can be updated before anyone else. And that is where the announcement for today comes in. The podcast will be called “This Blessed Mess” because I’m blessed, but also kind of a mess. To stay updated on when new podcast episodes happen, experience chatting with me about faith and religion, and get to know me on a super personal level, go follow the podcast on Instagram!!! You can find it @thisblessedmesspodcast!!!
You can head over there now to read more about what the podcast will be and also what book of the Bible we will be diving into first. I don’t have an exact date as to when the podcast will launch, but I will keep you posted over on Instagram and here as much as I can. But I am super excited to dive deep into my faith, learn more about the Bible and God, and just share as much as I can with all of you. So please make sure you go and follow the podcast on Instagram. I promise it will be worth it.
If you have any requests, questions, topics, or specific books of The Bible that you would like me to talk about on the podcast you can comment those below, email me (the email address is in the Instagram Bio), or message me on Instagram. I look forward to getting started on this and launching it very soon for you guys. The first episode or so will be more about me and my journey with God and faith, but after that I will start getting into the first book we will be studying together!
So let me know in the comments if you have anything specific you would like to see on the podcast. Also let me know how often you would like me to post and when you would like to post. It will help me figure out a schedule. I might do it on Mondays and Thursdays and just put it where the other podcast was, but let me know if something else works better for you! Make sure you go follow us on Instagram because there are a lot of updates coming soon!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorite show to binge watch is (I need some new shows). Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
