Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I am here to share another post in my series “Life Through My Eyes”. Today we are going to be talking about something that I have been experiencing for the better part of my adult life and it will be interesting to explore this side of myself with you. As I go through this and share with you, if any of this resonates with you, please let me know in the comments. I am interested to know if any you feel like you are also impulsively creative.

Life is a really funny thing sometimes, and the way my brain works, it just keeps getting interesting. Something that happens to me quite a bit is I get these random bursts of creative energy. I get an idea, a thought, or some kind of dream and I very impulsively sometimes decide to pursue it. And then I find that it wasn’t really the best time to try and start that particular goal. And while it doesn’t necessarily hurt to try, sometimes I put in a lot of time and effort and it doesn’t always end the way I hope it will.

But being impulsively creative is not always a bad thing. Starting this blog was an impulsive idea and it’s still going strong after three years and continues to grow everyday. There are many things in my life that are impulsive ideas that have ended up going really well. It also keeps me creative because I am able to dream and I don’t ever try to suppress any ideas. Instead I just try to write them down so I can come back to them when the timing is a bit better and I can really focus on them. Or I could decide that they aren’t really the best ideas after all.

I love being creative and I love that I can be spontaneous sometimes and come up with new ideas right away. But that also helps me appreciate the ideas that are really hard and take a bit longer to plan out and make happen. Both have their benefits and their drawbacks, and both are immensely important. Creativity does not always come naturally to everyone, so I consider it a great gift that I have the opportunity to be creative everyday and share that with all of you.

I don’t always love my impulsive nature because things don’t always work out the way I hope they will. But I love that I am creative and imaginative and that sometimes it does happen impulsively. I just have to remember to write down my ideas instead of diving into them right away. Being creative is something I value deeply and I love that so many of you are also creative, even if it’s not through writing. So if you have a creative passion that you would like to share, leave it in the comments!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments if you feel as though you are also impulsively creative sometimes. I would love to know that I am not alone in this. This will all sound really strange to someone who is not impulsively creative, but if you are then hopefully you will understand what it’s like. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
