Hey guys! Welcome back. I am so excited because today I get to share with you one of my favorite posts to do. It is time once again for another monthly Q&A. And I have some really great questions from you guys to answer, so I am really looking forward to this one. You guys asked some super fun and interesting questions, so I’m really excited about sharing my answers with you guys. But before we get into today’s questions, if you would like to be a part of next month’s Q&A leave your questions in the comments or go follow me on Instagram (lovegeekygirlblog) to ask questions when I request them on my story! With that being said, let’s start answering these questions!
Best advice you would give your teenage self?
Focus on yourself more and don’t worry so much about what other people are thinking or doing. Live your own life.
What makes you nervous?
I think going into any situation I’m not familiar with makes me nervous. But first dates specifically make me extremely nervous.
Biggest tip to be unapologetically yourself?
I think just focus on yourself. Instead of working and growing yourself for other people, focus more on the things you want to do for yourself. Because even if you know there are things you really want to change about yourself I think if you are doing them because you want to do it for yourself you are more likely to stick with it and it will help you feel more comfortable and confident with who you are. So just do things for yourself that you genuinely want to do. Don’t do things because other people think you should or other people are doing them.
What are your biggest tips for small bloggers?
Be consistent. You don’t have to post everyday, but you do need to have some sort of schedule for yourself. Join at least one social media platform, and something I’m still working on, be consistent with posting on that platform. Write about things you actually care about. Don’t write things because they work for other people. It may not necessarily work for you. Don’t focus so much on the numbers. Focus on building real connections with your followers. And always stay true to yourself.
Early riser or late nighter?
I’m definitely more of a night person. I can get up early and basically function, but I am much more productive at night. I have a hard time in the morning, so I would definitely say late nighter.
Have your tried Lulu Lemon Leggings?
I have not. Maybe I will someday, but I haven’t yet.
Do you ever use false lashes?
I do not. I am comfortable just having mascara and I feel like fake lashes take a long time and a lot of effort.
How is your love life?
At the moment it is nonexistent.
Do you have new friends or people you hang out with?
I hang out with my roommates most days, but other than that I haven’t really met anyone. Even at work we don’t really have many opportunities to become real friends. Maybe eventually, but I literally just started. But other than going to work I haven’t gotten out much since moving.
Do you have any regrets about putting your life online? Do you feel judged?
Let me just say this. I feel way more judged by people in my real life than I do by people online. So I don’t regret it. It actually means a lot that you guys want me to share more and that you are genuinely interested in getting to know me better.
What are you currently looking forward to the most?
I have something that I am working on that is coming very soon. Once everything in my personal life gets settled I will start talking about it more. But it’s very exciting and I can’t wait for it to finally come out. It probably won’t be fully ready until the first part of next year, but I am so excited. I have been working on it for quite a while now and it’s a really cool way for you guys to be involved and share your stories.
What are your thoughts on an open relationship?
I personally could never do it. But if that is something that both you and your significant other are into then that’s great for you. I would never judge someone for being in that situation, but I would never do it myself.
Do you plan to have kids?
Very soon I am going to be sharing an exclusive blog post for members only talking more in depth about my future regarding children. The reason I’m making it exclusive is because it’s not something I want everyone knowing, but if you are willing to pay to be a member (obviously you get a lot more that just one blog post) then I feel like you have earned the rights to this information. But it’s not something I have ever shared with literally anyone, but it does regard my future and what my plans involving children include. So stay tuned for that. I don’t know exactly when that will be shared, but you will know when it comes.
How much do you spend on your hair?
To get it cut? It’s about $20 including the tip. For like hair care? Usually I buy new shampoo and conditioner every couple of months. Depending on the brand and the size that I get I can go a few months without buying any new. But I don’t spend more than $10 on both. Sometimes if I need a new hair mask (which is like every six months or so) that anywhere from $3-$10. So it’s not too much.
And those are all the questions I have for today! I had a lot of fun with these questions. I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who sent me a question or left a question in the comments when I asked. I love when you guys give me questions. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Be sure to leave your questions for future Q&A posts in the comments. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
