Hey guys! Welcome back. It is time for another Q&A since it is a new month. These are my absolute favorite posts to write and share because I love that you guys get to have a part in it and help control how it goes and what I talk about. I always ask for questions on Instagram at least a day or two before I write the post and I save questions that I haven’t gotten around to answering in previous posts. I usually do a mixture just so I can answer as many questions as I can and not leave anyone out. But if you have a question you can leave it in the comments and make sure you are following on Instagram so you can see that story when it comes out next month. But for now, let’s get into these questions!
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
I think I have talked about this before, but I’ll answer it again because I think this is something everyone needs to hear. It definitely changed my life and my mindset when I heard it. The advice is to not take criticism from people you wouldn’t take advice from. I think that is so important and valuable because it made me think about how many people have negative opinions or criticisms that don’t really matter. I started thinking about how most of the time people who have something negative to say aren’t people who are doing what I’m doing, have any experience in the area, or are doing better than me in any regard. So I just stopped letting those people get to me and started doing what I wanted to do. I take constructive criticism from people I would take advice from. Otherwise I just ignore it.
How do you define beauty?
For me personally, I think beauty is definitely internal. Yes, people are beautiful on the outside, but if you aren’t a good person and being kind to other people it’s not as valuable. I think beauty is much more than just skin deep.
What’s your favorite board game?
That’s a really hard question because I love so many board games. But I really love Clue.
What’s your biggest weakness?
Definitely asking for help. I wasn’t raised thinking I could ask for help and even now I have a hard time with it. But we can’t go through life alone and no one can go through life never needing help. So I’m working on, but it’s definitely difficult for me.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Definitely in a house with a stable career. I will definitely have a kid by then.
Are you releasing merch?
Probably very soon. I will be doing merch for the podcast and I would like to do some for the blog as well, but it will probably be early November before that happens. If you have anything specific you guys would like to see be sure to leave those in the comments.
What are some names for kids you always love?
Girl: Kylie, Michelle, Brynn, Everly, Hadley, Piper, Quinn
Boy: Caden, Noah, Logan, Jackson, Lucas, Carter, Brayden
Thoughts on weed?
I absolutely hate the smell of it. I don’t understand how people can do it because it smells so bad. So I don’t do it. It’s fine for other people if you can get past the smell, but I would never do it because I can’t even get past the smell.
Noah Schnacky for sure.
Do you want to get married?
I definitely want to get married, but I want to marry one person. Like I’m not just going to get married for the sake of getting married. If I meet someone that I feel I could genuinely see myself with for the rest of my life then I will marry that person.
What has been your favorite memory of 2020 so far?
2020 has been a doozy hasn’t it? I would say my favorite big memory of 2020 so far is moving into my apartment. I wasn’t expecting it and it definitely happened kind of suddenly, but I am really happy that I am here.
What’s your favorite day of the week?
Definitely Thursday because it’s technically my Saturday and I get to relax after a long week of working.
Do you plan on staying in the city you are in?
I will be for a while. I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but I’m pretty settled and happy right now. I have a great apartment, great friends, and a great job. I literally could not as for more. So I will be staying for at least a couple of years and probably even more.
Are you going to start vlogging again?
Yes! I’m still trying to get into a routine with work and everything, but I plan to start within the next week or so.
Do you ever get tired or feel overwhelmed by social media?
Not really. I know for most content creators that is a huge problem and if I was actually any good at social media I might feel that way. But honestly as far as Instagram and stuff goes I am pretty good at putting it away when it feels stressful or overwhelming. However, I will say that I have seen the dark side of Twitter and I don’t care for it. Not even on my content, but on other people’s posts and stuff people are just so hateful for no reason. So I do get overwhelmed by Twitter sometimes, but I just close it and don’t go on it for a while.
Do you ever think of leaving blogging behind completely?
I have never thought about just quitting. It has slowed down quite a bit in the past couple of months because of some behind the scenes things, but I have never wanted to just quit. I think if I did it would leave a huge hole in my life and my heart because I invest so much time into creating content. So I don’t think I will ever quit, but I probably won’t post everyday all the time. I just try to get content out as often as I can and try to schedule content to go out on my days off. It’s just hard sometimes.
During your time in college, did you hook up with a lot of people?
I understand where this question comes from because I definitely haven’t talked a lot about this, especially recently. But no I did not hook up with a lot of people. As crazy as it may sound I actually didn’t hook up with anyone. And it wasn’t because I thought it was bad or wrong because it’s really not, I just didn’t feel comfortable doing it myself. But for some people they really enjoy it and it fits with what they want to do and that’s totally fine. It’s just not something I did and it’s not something I really had the time for either.
Have you been dating anyone since your previous relationship?
I have not. I wasn’t dating before I moved because there was no point and I haven’t found anyone I’m interested in since I moved.
What do people criticize you on the most?
Like in general? Probably for not being super outgoing.
Why don’t you ever talk about drama going on online?
I don’t really think it’s my place to weigh in on other people’s lives. Regardless of how famous or popular they are, at the end of the day they are still people and I don’t gain anything from talking about. It doesn’t fit into the content I create, so I’m not ever interested in talking about it.
So today I answered 20 questions which seems like a lot, but hopefully I answered some things you have been wondering about. If not, I’m sure I will get to it soon. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. If you have any questions for next month’s Q&A leave those in the comments for me. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time. Also, I’m still doing a giveaway on my podcast’s Instagram so be sure to go check that out!
