Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. Today I wanted to talk about something that I have been getting questions about a lot recently. And that is how I have faith when it feels hopeless or that things might not work out the way I want them to. So I thought today I would take the opportunity to talk about having faith in dark or uncertain times to hopefully inspire you if you are unsure. I know that having faith can sometimes be scary and I definitely struggle with understanding why certain things happen to me and why I have to go through things. But one of the biggest things that I hold on to is the fact that I know that God has bigger plans for me. I know that even though I am struggling right now there is a bigger and better destination coming in the future. But there are a few other things that help me keep my faith that may also help you when you are struggling.
The dark times help strengthen my faith.
I have found that it is when I am struggling the most that God shows up for me the most. When I am at my lowest is when God blesses me the most. So even when I am struggling and I am sitting in darkness it helps to know that God is providing something through this. Whether it is a lesson, an opportunity, or a gift I know that I will come out of whatever it is a stronger person with a stronger faith. And even though I still struggle and I’m not always positive and optimistic, I know that if I have faith everything will work out exactly how God intends for it to.
Sometimes God asks us to do things because He knows we can.
God only gives us what He knows we can handle. He doesn’t ask us to do things He isn’t sure we can handle. I mean He had Noah build the ark and even though Noah was unsure at first, he got it done and was able to do exactly what God asked him to do. God has asked me to do things and put my on paths that I wasn’t sure I could follow through with. But I have learned that when I follow God’s path and do what He instructs me to do that everything works out the way I need it to. So I always follow the path I feel God is telling me to go down.
God does not leave us.
Sometimes we wander away from God, but He is always there waiting for our return. He is always there with us and goes through what we go through with us. He never leaves our side. This helps me when I am going through a dark or uncertain time because I know that I am really not alone. I know that I have God on my side and that no matter what I will be taken care of. Sure it’s still scary, but it definitely helps especially when I don’t have a choice with the dark or uncertain times.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you find this helpful. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments how you hold on to your faith in dark or uncertain times. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
