Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. Today I wanted to talk about prayer. Prayer is something that has been a major part of my life for a very long time, but it’s not always easy. Sometimes I catch myself only praying for things that seem possible or realistic. I find myself purposefully not praying for things that seem out of reach because I fear those things not happening and leaving me disappointed. I fear that God will not be able to make the things that I am asking for happen. However, the truth is, God has powers beyond anything anyone in the world is capable of.

There are many things that have happened in my life that would not have been possible if it weren’t for God. I know that there was no way that I survived any of the things that I have on my own. I recognize that I was never alone in those situations. And there have been many times where I prayed for something that seemed beyond reason and logic and God still made it happen. So I know that when we pray it doesn’t just have to be for things that make sense to us because God can do things far beyond what we can even imagine.

Keep Praying.

When it comes to praying for something that we deem impossible, it can be easy to give up and choose to move on when it doesn’t happen in a timely manner. But I encourage you to keep praying for whatever it is no matter what. God hears your prayers, so trust His timing. Don’t be afraid to keep asking God for what you want or what you need. There is nothing that is unreasonable to God, but you must trust that He will reveal His answer when the time is right. Don’t give up on praying even when it’s hard or feels hopeless.

Admit Your Weakness.

We all have weaknesses and things that we need to work on. God already knows what they are. However, admitting your shortcomings and being able to vocalize where you fall the most is extremely valuable. It shows God that you know you are not perfect and that you need Him. The way we approach talking to God and asking for His help does make a difference. Show God your heart. Open up to Him and be vulnerable. Show Him where your heart is and what you need the most from Him and He will deliver for you. Just be honest with Him.

Have Faith.

One of the biggest components of prayer is having faith. Without faith, your prayers really are hopeless and probably aren’t going to help. If you don’t have faith in God and His ability to work wonders, then you aren’t going to trust that He can help you with what you need help with. Like I mentioned before, God is capable of far more than we could ever imagine and there are no limits to what He can do. So when you are praying for something that seems impossible or out of limits, remember who you are talking to.

Pray With Confidence.

Similarly to having faith, praying with confidence is crucial to hearing from God. Praying with confidence helps illustrate the idea that you know that God can not only move your mountains, but that He will. Understanding who God is, what He is capable of, and why He does what He does is important to having that confidence and knowing that you are in good hands. It’s not always easy to know that God hears us and is doing what is best for us, but it’s important to always pray with great confidence and know that you are taken care of.

Pray Out Loud.

When you find yourself praying for something that doesn’t seem logical or possible, say your prayer out loud. Say it as though God is sitting right next to you and you are having a conversation. Talk through how you are feeling, what you need, and why you need it. Talk to God about what you are struggling with and just really open up. It helps to say it out loud because it helps you speak up and work through what you are asking God. It helps bring clarity and peace to you, and it helps you practice with both faith and confidence in your prayers.

You don’t just have to pray for what seems logical and possible. God wants to know that you know He is capable of more and wants to help you. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what helps you when you are praying for something that seems impossible.
