Hey guys! Welcome back. I moved into my very first apartment back in August and over the past few months I have worked hard to make it feel like home. And even though I have made progress, there are still a few things I want to get to really get it where I want to be. So I thought today I would share with the big things that are on my wish list for my apartment. Some of these things I plan to get very soon and others will come with time. But these are the big things that I really want to get to take my apartment to the next level.

Full-Length Mirror.

I really think everyone should own a full-length mirror. Not only is it practical, but it’s also great for taking pictures. It’s also great to tie a room together and make it look a bit bigger and more spacious. It’s something that I definitely hope to invest in at some point in the future.

I have a lot of things in my room from books to candles that I really need a space for. So I want to find a nice, affordable bookshelf that I can put in my room to store all of my stuff. Since my desk is pretty much completely taken up in terms of space, I need something else.

I think the ottomans that have storage in them are not only super cute, but also practical. I would love to get one eventually that I could have in my room so I could store my extra throw blankets and other things that I don’t want to have out all the time. I also just love the way they look.

Spice Rack.

I love cooking and trying new things, but one thing I don’t have is a ton of spices or a spice rack. So I am really hoping to invest in one very soon. I would love to have new spices to cook and bake with and also somewhere to put all of them. It would be a great addition to the kitchen.

Instant Pot.

I got an air fryer and I am so excited to start using it, so the next big thing for the kitchen that I really want is an Instant Pot. I have seen so many people get one and really love it.

Stand Mixer.

Stand mixers make cooking and baking so much easier. You can have both of your hands to add things in to the bowl and not have to keep stopping. It just makes the whole process a lot easier and you have more flexibility. It’s just a staple that I think everyone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen needs.

Knife Set.

We have a few knives, but I think we would benefit from more. And I think it would be really nice to have one of those knife sets that comes with a stand.

Wall Art.

I don’t have a ton of things hanging up in my bedroom and bathroom right now and most of what I do have up is Christmas stuff. So I am really looking to invest in some wall art that I can hang up in my bedroom and bathroom very soon. I have been looking everywhere to find things I love.

A Coat Rack.

I really think we need something where we can hang our jackets, hats, and other outerwear since it is getting really cold here and we have a ton of things. I think it would be really practical and something we could all use.

A Desk Chair.

I have been working from home for almost two months now and I still don’t have a desk chair. And even though I am fine with the standard chair I have now, it’s not really great for sitting in eight hours a day. It’s extremely uncomfortable and I really just want to invest in a good quality desk chair that I can sit in with minimal discomfort, but also something that isn’t going to break the bank.

New Bath Towels.

I have had the towels and wash cloths that I have since I started college over five years ago. So I really want to invest in some new ones. I want to get some that match the colors in my bathroom so that it all looks aesthetically pleasing and everything is kind of tied together. Also some really soft towels and wash cloths wouldn’t hurt.

Utility Cart.

My like my bedroom, my bathroom doesn’t have a ton of storage options. And while I am making it work for the most part right now, have a utility cart where I could store some of the stuff I use a lot without having to keep it all over my bathroom sink will really help. And I have found one on Amazon that I am looking to buy really soon. Then I will just need to figure out how to put it together.

Makeup Organizer.

It’s no big secret that I have a ton of makeup. And right now I have it all stored away in the bottom drawer of my dresser. Because of that there is so much makeup that gets untouched because I don’t even think about it. So I would really like a makeup organizer so I could have some of it out and also free up some of that drawer space.

I have never really had plants before and I’m not really sure how equipped I am to keep plants alive. But I really think some plants would help liven the space up. So maybe I’ll just start with one and see how it goes.

Dry Erase Board.

I want one of those really big dry erase boards that I can hang next to my desk so I can keep notes on, meal plan, and keep up with important dates and things I need to do. It would also just be really fun and add some color to the room. Also I just really love a really good dry erase board.

I’m still working on learning how to use this platform as well as comment and leave comments, like & help out fellow Bloggers. My daughter just recently moved out on her own into her first apartment, so we just went through this. Her wish list had to be more than slightly trimmed once she realized how much less space her one bedroom apartment offered.
