Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you are having a great week. Something that you guys really love to see from me is my routines, so today I thought it would be fun to share with you my updated morning routine. Working from home has really changed things up, so there are a few changes in the way I do certain things and I have added a couple of things to help me get going in the morning. So here is my morning routine for this Winter!
Make My Bed.
I love a good, clean start and there is no better feeling first thing in the morning than making my bed. It’s also one of the easiest things I can do in the morning. It is usually the thing I start with because that way I know for sure it’s done and since I am right there I might as well get it out of the way. So making my bed is always the first thing I do every morning because it looks great and helps me feel great.
While I am waking up and going through the rest of the morning, I really like to drink water. It helps me refresh and gives me energy to start the day and it helps me keep drinking water the rest of the day. I know the earlier I start drinking water, the more water I am likely to drink.
I like to get in some kind of work out every morning because it helps me loosen up and helps me get it out of the way. Because by the time the day is over the last thing I want to do is work out.
After the workout and all the water I drink, I usually need to go to the bathroom anyway. So while I am in there I brush my teeth and do my skin care routine. It helps refresh me after my workout and is a great transition into the rest of the morning routine and the day ahead.
Light A Candle.
You guys may have noticed that my love for candles has really been growing these past couple of months. And every day I really like to light a candle first thing in the morning because it brings in light, warmth, and a really great smell.
Time With God.
While I am enjoying my freshly lit candle and letting my skin care work it’s magic I like to take a few moments and spend with God. I pray, do a devotional, and read something in the Bible. I find that starting and ending my day with God really helps me stay calm and peaceful.
I don’t wear makeup everyday, but on days that I do I always put it on last. I get dressed and make sure that I am prepared for everything I need to do that day.
And that is my morning routine. It’s nothing special, but it really does work for me. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did.
