Hey guys! Welcome back. I know the feeling all too well of wanting to do something but not having a lot of disposable funds to do anything with. I also know that just because you don’t have a ton of money doesn’t mean you have to be bored. In fact, some of my absolute favorite things to do are the most affordable things I do. So today I wanted to share some ways you can still have fun and enjoy yourself even if you don’t have a lot of money to spend.

Go for a walk.

I know this may not sound like a ton of fun, but it can be. If you live somewhere that has a park or some hiking trails, it’s a great way to get outside and enjoy some fresh air or nature. Or you can hit the gym, turn on something to watch or listen to, and hop on the treadmill. There are so many ways to make walking actually enjoyable and it’s a great way to get some exercise and get your steps in.

Watch a movie.

Got a couple of hours to kill? There are so many amazing movies to watch! Whether it’s a movie you’ve seen so many times, but love or a movie you have never seen watching a movie is a great very affordable way to have some fun. In fact Netflix is a super affordable way to watch movies all the time, so if you are completely out of ideas turn on a movie or TV show and just relax. It’s a good time.

Bake something.

Brownies, cookies, a cake, or whatever your heart desires. Baking is so much fun and there is a really great reward at the end. Baking is one of my favorite things to do and I have loved it for as long as I can remember. Baking is so fun and there are so many different options. And it’s honestly something that is super affordable and doesn’t take a ton of effort to get the stuff for. It’s one of my favorites.

Call someone.

Do you have someone in your life that you haven’t reached out to in a while? Give them a call! Reach out to friends, relatives, and even people in your network that you haven’t talked to recently. They would probably love to hear from you and it really doesn’t cost anything to call them (assuming your phone bill is paid). So if you want something that is practically free, just give someone a quick call and catch up.

Explore the city.

If you live in a bigger city, or this could even work for a smaller town, go exploring. Look around at the smaller shops and restaurants. You don’t have to spend any money or even stop at them unless you want to, but driving around for a little while and really just getting to know where you live is a great way to have some fun and just see what’s out there. Visit spots you haven’t been before and just enjoy the scenery.

Board games.

Chances are you probably have at least one board game at your house, even if it’s just checkers. So that’s something you don’t have to pay for because you already have it. So enjoy some fun and laughter with a board game or a card game if you have cards. It’s fun, it’s easy, and it’s affordable. Are you by yourself? No worries! Grab a puzzle and spend some time working through it. See how far you can get.

Those are some fun and very affordable things you can do with very little or no money. Of course there are hundreds more, but these are my favorites. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorite affordable activity is. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
