Hey guys! Welcome back. Is it just me or did January go by kind of fast? I can’t believe we already an entire month into 2021. It was a crazy one for sure, but full of so much to be thankful for at the same time. And with the end of a month and the start of a new one, it is time once again for me to share my favorites from last month and my goals for this new month. I love sharing these with you guys and hopefully it gives you some new ideas for February. So let’s hop right into it!
January 2021 Favorites:
The Office: I have been watching The Office a lot more this month since I got Peacock at the start of the month and they have more extended episodes. I have been loving it.
My Weighted Blanket: I’m a huge fan of my weighted blanket. I swear I have never slept better and it has just helped me so much with relaxing and stress relief. I highly recommend investing in a weighted blanket no matter what though because I genuinely believe everyone needs one.
Movies: If you know me well you know that I have never really been a big movie person. I have always been more into TV shows, but this month I watched more movies and I loved it.
Bubble Baths: It’s not necessarily a new favorite, but I am still enjoying bubble baths, especially since it has been a bit colder this month. I love enjoying a nice bubble bath after a long day or a long week.
The Rachel Hollis Podcast: If you have been around for a while you probably know that Rachel Hollis is one of my favorite people. And this month I have really been loving her podcast. I listen to it all the time and it has taught me so much about life, happiness, and how to be the best version of myself.
February 2021 Goals:
Read one book.
Continuing on my journey to read one book a month, this month I obviously have to include this as a goal. I really want to read more, but I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself because then I feel like I won’t enjoy it as much or get as much out of it. So my goal is to read at least one book every month.
Continue daily movement.
I don’t say workouts only because I don’t do a workout every single day. However, I do try to get in some kind of movement every day. Whether it’s a walk outside, a full workout, or even just some stretching, I like to do something that moves my body and helps keep me going. I just try to find fun things I can do that will allow me to incorporate more movement into my daily life and just feel better and more energized.
Plan March Content.
I like to plan as far in advance as I can, so this month I really want to have content at least planned out. I would like to prewrite and have things scheduled as much as possible, but at the very least I want to have everything planned. So if you have any requests for February or March let me know in the comments!
Clean out closet.
I haven’t really done much to my closet in terms of organization since I moved in, so I am really hoping to tackle that at some point this month. I just want to get a few things that will help me organize. If you have any recommendations let me know. I have a pretty decent sized closet.
Get to 2,000 followers.
We are so close. We are just a little over 100 people away from hitting this goal. I really believe that we can do it this month. So be sure to share with all of your friends and get them to follow. We continue to grow everyday and I really believe that we can get there in February. So just keep telling people about it.
Self Care Saturdays.
So my schedule changed a few weeks ago and I now have Tuesdays and Saturdays off. So I have really been thinking about how I want to use those two days and how I can use them to my advantage. So I thought it would be good to start devoting Saturdays strictly to myself and my mental health.
Try two new recipes.
I do have one idea for a recipe that I want to try, but I’m still searching for another one. I am really loving cooking still and I love trying new ideas with foods that I love. So I am really trying to incorporate more recipes, but I don’t always have a ton of time to cook a whole big meal. So I am trying to find recipes that are more on the quick and simple side of things and that are more for one person than an entire family.
And those are my January 2021 favorites and my February 2021 goals. It’s not much, but it’s all great stuff. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what your favorites from this past month or your goals for this next month are. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
