Hey guys! Welcome back. I don’t know about you, but this week went by so fast for me. It feels like just yesterday I was writing last week’s weekly recap. Nonetheless, I am back this week with even more to share with you. Even though this week did go by rather quickly, I still feel like I have so much to share with you. I didn’t feel like too much had happened this week, but as I sat down to really reflect I realized that there was more to this week than I initially thought and more that I wanted to share with you than I had originally anticipated. With that said, let’s jump right into it!
The first this is a question I get asked quite a lot about over on Instagram which is if I am still in therapy. I haven’t talked about it in a while, but I am still in therapy. I don’t foresee myself giving it up any time soon because this was the brain God gave me. There is still so much that I am working through and trying to move past and therapy is just one of many things I am doing to try to help myself. So that hasn’t changed. I don’t talk about it a whole lot because a lot of it is very private, but I do share some updates from time to time if there is anything worth sharing.
This week was big for me in terms of gratitude as well. As you guys know gratitude is very important to me and I try always to express it in as many ways as I can. And this week I really tried to start and end each day reminding myself of everything I have to be grateful for. I write it down, type it out, express it to people in my life, and just try to make sure I am acknowledging the good things I have going for me more than the things that aren’t as ideal. It has really helped me shift my perspective and improve my mood.
A really fun fact (not really fun) about me is I don’t like grilled cheese. I never have. It’s something that I would eat when I was younger if I had to, but I have tried grilled cheese in as many ways as possible and I just don’t like it. I don’t know what it is about it because I know it’s just bread and cheese, but I also don’t like just plain cheese pizza. But anyway this week I did try something new and I made a pizza grilled cheese that is actually really good. Instead of just regular cheese it’s pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperonis. It’s a new personal favorite and I haven’t burned it yet.
And lastly, as much as I can’t believe it’s already a new week, I also can’t believe it’s a new month. February went by so quickly and it’s already time to start planning for March. March I’m really excited for because two weeks from now I’m going to have a mini vacation and I am so excited to have a few days off of work. And there is also some other things coming in March that I am really excited for. I have some really great content ideas planned and I am excited to see what this upcoming month has in store for all of us.
And that was everything that happened this week. I found a new favorite recipe, I really worked on being more grateful, I started planning for March, and oddly enough I found a new strange obsession with watching YouTube videos on The Voice from Germany.
