Hey guys! Welcome back. As most of you know by now I am an incredibly introverted person. Being around a lot of people is very draining and makes me exhausted. But just because I am introverted doesn’t mean I want to be alone all the time. In fact, if I’m alone for too long I start to feel bad because sometimes we just need human interaction. However, I also think it’s important, no matter if you are introverted or extraverted, that you are careful with who you spend your time with and the people you allow into your life. So today I want to share why I choose to spend time with people who feel like sunlight.

So what does that mean? To me, there are just some people that warm my soul and make me feel happier just like sunlight does. There is something about the sunshine that just naturally makes me feel better and I think that’s true for many people. I think there are some people that I just naturally feel more drawn to because they make me feel warm and they restore a new energy in me. And there is just something about these kinds of people that make me want to continue to be around them and I find myself wanting to spend more time with them.

These people that feel like sunlight respect my vulnerability. They don’t make me feel bad or dismiss my feelings. They don’t leave me feeling like I wasn’t heard or what I said didn’t matter. They help me feel understand and they are able to respect my thoughts and feelings. They are people who I know I can confide in no matter what and I won’t have to worry about being misunderstood or someone taking something out of context. I know that when I talk to them they will listen without judgement and will care about what I have to say.

They are also people whose core values align with mine. That’s not to say that we agree on literally everything, but the essential things we are able to agree on. There isn’t debate on basic human rights and how people should be treated. We don’t question the way the other treats someone because we all value the same things and we feel very strongly about these values. It’s very important that whoever is in your life is someone that shares the same important values so you don’t feel like you are constantly defending yourself.

If you find someone in your life that feels like sunshine you should hold on to them for as long as you can. Always be grateful that they are in your life and that you have someone who helps fill you up. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments if you have someone that feels like sunshine and what qualities you look for in someone to consider them sunlight. I would love to know! Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!

Introverts rock! They’re just about the most honest people. Sometimes not talkative enough for me… lol. I’m kind of a different introvert.
