Hey guys! Welcome back. I hope you had a great week. If I’m being honest this past week was kind of rough for me. We are still struggling with internet issues over here and just praying that it doesn’t go out again. But it wasn’t all bad! I made significant progress on something I have been working on literally for years and did a couple of really fun things that I am excited to share with you guys. So even though we had some rough patches, I made it through and I am excited to share!

The first thing I really wanted to share is that a few days ago my roommates and I were talking about classic literature that everyone needs to read. And we came up with a pretty good list. Some I have read, some I haven’t. So I was really curious about what you guys think. What are some of your favorite classic literature books? They can be American or international. I just really want to know what everyone thinks and what the books are that you think everyone should read.

Also something really exciting that happened this week is I made significant progress on my book. I would say it’s pretty close to being finished which is really exciting. Hopefully I can get it fully finished and ready to be published sometime this year. We will see what happens though because this is my first book and I am extremely nervous even though I literally write every single day and have been working on this for a really long time.

In other news, I got my hair done yesterday for the first time in like seven months and I am thriving. I got it done at Ulta which was a whole new experience because I have never had my hair done there. It was quite the experience and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a really good, salon quality hair cut. The girl who did mine was amazing and did such a great job. If you want to see it, go check my Instagram (@samnicholeproctor).

Also while I was at Ulta today I got some new products that I am really excited to share with you guys. I got a new Real Techniques sponge because I desperately needed a new one. I picked up another Freeman Polishing Charcoal + Black Sugar face mask because I have been using it for years and I love it. I also got the Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Leave-In Conditioner as well as the Pacifica Strawberry Peach body wash just to try. I’m excited to let you guys know what I think!

And I topped off the week with watching Aladdin for the first time last night with my roommates. It was a lot of fun and I honestly hadn’t seen Aladdin before. So now it’s another one I can mark off my list of movies to watch. Overall, I really enjoyed it and it’s fun to just watch a movie. Wasn’t planning on it, but I also remember that we played New Phone, Who Dis Friday night that wasn’t really planned but still so much fun.

But that was it for this weekly recap. There was a lot going on, but overall I had a pretty good week even though it wasn’t always smooth sailing. Thank you so much for stopping by! I really hope you enjoyed this. Please like it if you did. Let us know in the comments what you were up to this week. Don’t forget to follow before you leave if you have not already and I hope to see you next time!
