Hey guys! Welcome back. I know it’s late, but I am here with my current, updated night routine. Working from home has been both a blessing at times and a curse at times and having a really good night routine has been an absolute necessity. It’s really important that I am able to find a way to transition from work life to home life when it all happens in the same space. So this is my night routine at the moment!
I don’t get off work until 8:00 p.m. so I am usually pretty hungry. So the first thing I typically do once I get off is eat dinner. This can take up an hour depending on what I am having and how quickly I get it prepared and eaten. But I usually take my time because it’s relaxing and I can take the time to unwind. I usually end up watching TV during this time as well just to have some entertainment and relax.
Work On Content.
After dinner I usually spend some time working on content and getting blog posts ready. Whether that is planning for blog posts, writing, or actually getting one posted, I spend time working on posts and making sure I know what’s coming up. Sometimes I have to write things out in advance just so I know they are ready to go when I need them. And sometimes I am working on coming up with new ideas. It just depends on what’s coming up.
Once I have content all finished I will take a break and take a shower or a bath depending on how I’m feeling and if I need to wash my hair. This is another time that I don’t really rush because it helps me relax. I usually listen to a podcast or music during this time and just spend the time really decompressing and not worrying about anything in particular. It’s one of my favorite times of day.
Once I have finished my shower while I am in the bathroom I will do my skin care routine. I don’t have a super elaborate routine with a ton of products, but I do have the essentials. I spend some time really working the products into my skin and taking my time with it. Another time of my routine that I am in no rush to complete. I also brush my teeth at this time so it’s already done.
Plan out the next day.
Once all of that is done I will sit down and plan out what I have going on for the next day. Most days a huge chunk of my day is at work, but I still have time outside of work that I need to plan for. Also if it’s my day off I don’t have a super rigid plan, but I do like to have some structure just so I have a general idea of what is going on and sometimes on my days off there are things that I would like to get done.
And that is basically my night routine right now. Of course I am also watching TV and doing fun things, but it changes depending on the day and what’s going on. Thank you so much for stopping by!
